Ok we all know of the money problems, you don't know whos gonna be the next one to abandon the ship, ain't no way they're gonna be able to resign Kurt Angle to a deal. The NYC while being great, it was done more to impress Spike TV exectutives than anything else, even Jim Ross said that it is too expensive to put a show in New York with union costs and all, and that even the WWE sometimes just broke even, I don't how much money it took from TNA to produce them, but I don't think they turned a profit. The Russo situation, by lying about him, they put themselves in a position where they could lose their relationship with wrestle 1, they even pissed spike tv. I think Bobby Lashley is their last stand, if he wins, it brings legitimacy to TNA, hell if he finishes his opponent, the audience would get curious of this tna product, and they at least would watch the program, if Lashley wins, spike tv would take tna seriously, there ain't no way they're not gonna signed them to a new deal when they can cross program with Bellator. By the same token if Lashley stinks up the joint or gets finished, the audience would go "loltna", he would have to get stripped of the title. I'm not saying that tna is going to die after this, but this is their last chance to escape from mediocrity.

Wait, are you saying Lashley winning at Bellator could save TNA?

Wait, are you saying Lashley winning at Bellator could save TNA? Not at once, but it would be a step in the right direction.

If Lashley is TNA's last hope then they might as well throw in the towel now, fold up that 45 sided ring, and call it a decade.

Unless Lashley is fighting to win a billion dollar purse that goes to Panda, TNA is done.

Lol yeah its not gonna solve their money problems, they're on life support by spike tv, I was just thinking that Lashley's performance in bellator will be a huge factor spike tv will consider when signing tna to a new deal.

I don't think any thing that happens in Bellator will really affect Impact. Half of TNA's roster could win every match ever for 2 years straight and it won't affect Impact at all.

You might want to add that to the OP. No offense, but how it reads now, it's kind of hard to determine what you're trying to say.

Is the Lashley fight on Spike or PPV? If it's on Spike I'll check it out just to see if Bobby does the job for that tomato can. We could have a new TNA champion of Josh Burns!

Wait. Bobby Lashley beating a walking tomato can in a MMA match on TV is TNA's last hope?
Yeah I don't think there's any fact to that at all sorry. First if Spike hasn't renewed them by September 5th they aren't going to be. Saw something that made the rounds on the copy paste sites that the observer said that Talents would be informed on the TV situation at the next tapings in NYC.
Honestly I was pretty optimistic about TNA getting re upped, but seeing as this has been getting dragged out with no announcements, and no plans for anything on TNA's part past BFG (no house shows, no taping locations or dates...nothing), I'm leaning more towards the "hiatus for a reboot" explanation. I mean outside of small out of the way unused buildings, you need a bit of lead time to book a venue and make plans for the tapings. I mean if we don't have a "TNA extends contract with SPIKE TV" announcement by the end of the 2nd week of August I don't think that'll be coming.
And that's got nothing to do with Bobby Lashley's next MMA fight.

TNA is reminding me more and more of the end of ECW with the exception that I thought ECW was a much better product at its end than TNA is at this point in time.
