No worries. I've done drafts different ways in the past. We don't have to do it in one sitting, really. We have some time.

OK, so...
First, let me apologize for no updates over the weekend. I know I said I'd get the scoring and transaction stuff up by no later than today (so, I met the deadline), but I really wanted to get it all up sooner.
Second, I apologize that this post is so long. There's a lot to look over, though. Make sure you look through it all!
Below, you will find the tentative scoring and transaction rules. I will say that most of what I posted was what I used in the previous leagues I ran. I'm not saying it is perfect, but it worked. That said, I am open to having a discussion on any changes. If the majority wants something specific, it can certainly be talked about.
Scoring
PPVs World Heavyweight Championship match - 25 points Intercontinental/United States/Tag Team/Divas Championships match - 20 points Regular one-on-one match - 15 points Stipulation/gimmick matches - 5 points
RAW/Smackdown/Main Event World Heavyweight Championship match - 20 points Intercontinental/United States/Tag Team/Divas Championships match - 15 points Regular one-on-one match - 10 points Stipulation/gimmick matches - 5 points
Superstars World Heavyweight Championship match - 15 points Intercontinental/United States/Tag Team/Divas Championships match - 10 points Regular one-on-one match - 5 points Stipulation/gimmick matches - 5 points
Points for PPV Predictions For every PPV, you will have until 7:30 (EST) to submit your match predictions. You will receive one point for each correct match prediction. The person(s) with the highest score will receive a five point bonus. Predictions must be submitted in the league thread to be counted.
Other Scoring Clarification - Points are given to the announced winner of the match - Matches with stipulations or gimmicks get 5 extra points. Therefore, a Hell in a Cell match will get 5 extra points...as will a three-way or a handicap match or a ladder match and so on. - Contest-type matches will not receive points. That goes for stuff like debates, dance-offs, arm wrestling contests, and so forth.
Transaction Rules
Adding/Dropping Because the WWE tapes some shows in advance, the transaction period will close every Monday at 7 PM (EST) and remain closed until 10 PM (EST) on Friday. Therefore, the transaction period will be closed from the beginning of the Superstars taping until the end of the airing of Smackdown. On the rare weeks when RAW is taped, there will be minor time adjustments to this rule.
On PPV weekends, the transaction period will also close during the PPV (7:30 to 11 PM EST).
Trades Trades can be made at any time between participants. Trades must be posted in the league thread by one of the participants in the trade. The other participant will have 24 hours to confirm the trade. Upon confirmation, the rest of the league will have 48 hours to review the trade for possible veto. If 4 participants veto the trade, the trade is canceled. Trades that are made official during the closed transaction period will be put into effect when the transaction period opens back up after Smackdown.
A few notes and tidbits on the scoring and rules...
- PPV scoring is weighted highest because there are less PPVs than normal shows. - I put Main Event at the same tier as RAW and Smackdown after debating it with myself for a while. I was originally going to put Main Event on the same tier as Superstars. However, they tend to announce "big" matches for Main Event and try to get viewers to tune into it on the network. Therefore, I put it as an "equal" to RAW and Smackdown. If the majority feels it should be on the same tier as Superstars, then I have no problem doing so. - The transaction rules might seem like a pain in the butt. The only reason why I do them that way is because of spoilers. I ran leagues in the past with people who didn't read spoilers. I also feel like it gives people more time to think about their transactions and there's more of a desire to want to make them come Friday. For what it is worth, the transaction rules are pretty much the same that I used in those previous leagues and it worked quite well with keeping everyone on the same level. - The times are going to be following Eastern Standard Time in the United States. I am well aware that we all come from different parts of the world. However, because the WWE runs on Eastern Standard Time, I have decided to follow their times. - When it comes to scoring a show, I will do my best to post the scores and update the standings within 24 hours of a show's airing. If I know there is going to be a delay, I will give a heads up. I know that I like it when my fantasy leagues stay up to date in the scoring. I want to give the same effort and respect.
Some other things about league news...
I wanted to start the draft today. However, because I wasn't able to post this until today, I highly doubt that will happen.
While you are looking over the scoring and rules, please also think about how many wrestlers each roster should have. Over the weekend, I took a look at the WWE's active roster. I counted about...eh...48 wrestlers that we see on a relatively normal basis. A few of those are stretching it. Normally, I like to have 4 wrestlers for each participant to have on their roster. I think that is doable if we scrape the bottom of the barrel. Or...we can have 3 wrestlers each and have a tiny bit bigger free agent pool. What do you guys think?
I would like to maybe get a majority vote on that before the draft starts...which is why I will probably hold off until starting it tomorrow.
As far as the draft goes...
I know that when it comes to fantasy leagues, a lot of us like to do a live draft in one sitting. I am more than happy to figure out how to do that. However, I also do not mind just posting the draft order and having everyone pick at their convenience (with a time limit of like...24 hours). I know everyone is busy and in different time zones. I think having people pick when they can will work. That is how I did it in the previous leagues. I also have a system where when we do that, you can send me a list of wrestlers you would pick and if you're not online for your pick and I am, I can pick from you list to keep the draft moving. But that is for when the draft starts. I don't want to get too ahead of myself. I will explain that further when I officially start the draft.
One last thing to discuss!
Obviously, this league has to have a beginning and end. I would like for the beginning to be Summerslam. We have about 20 or so days to get the draft done. I think that's more than possible. What about the end, though? When would you guys like to run this until? Wrestlemania? Royal Rumble? Sooner? Later? Like I said in the first post, I've run these leagues for a few months to a whole year. So...let me know
Anyway...
Please look over this post. I know it's a big one, but it's important that everyone understands everything before we start.
Thanks!

Just to kind of sum up that big post...
- When you get the time, please look over the big post. - Make sure to ask any questions about anything. - Please respond about roster size and season length.

I guess since I'm participating as well, I should put my two cents in?
I am leaning towards 3 wrestlers and going until Wrestlemania...Royal Rumble being the earliest stopping point.

I agree with 3 wrestlers and going to Wrestlemania. Whatever you think works the best.

Awesome, guys. I'll wait for a few more to chime in, of course, to make 3 and Wrestlemania official, but it looks like that is what might be best.
Anybody have any other questions or anything?

Questions:
1) I assume Snake Draft protocol?
2) Tag teams, one entity or two separate wrestlers?
3) Add/Drop, will there be a waiver wire like equivalent where the worst team gets the first chance to add or will it be first come, first served?
4) Finally, ok with 3 wrestlers and till WM, it would feel strange to not end at WM imo.

I have never done it before, but would be willing to try if majority agrees. I really like this idea, though. 4) Thanks!

So Chaos, not to steal your thunder or anything but the waiver system I was referring would work like so.
1) Once the draft is complete the waiver/transaction system order would be set with the person who picked last in the draft being first in the waiver order and so on.
2) Let's say for example CM Punk returns (HAHAHAHA) and I'm sitting first in the waiver order. I get first crack at adding him with a request sent to Chaos, now all the rest of you can send requests for him as well and they will be honored in the order you are in the list. If I say no to CM Punk but the person who is second wants to be him up, he is awarded CM Punk
3) If you use your waiver request, you are going to the back or the order. So in that example above, the person who was second is now last.
Basically, if you've played fantasy anything you know how this works, but I'm just putting this out there in case anyone is confused by my proposal.

I like the concept.
Would it go for just returning/debuting/dropped wrestlers or all free agents?

I think it's doable.
What about the league? What do we think?

I like that, as it lends some realism. Guys like Jericho and the Miz dart back and forth.
How would it work for people being brought up to the main roster? Same thing?
