Inspired by a thread from a different board, this includes WWF and WCW. Also, where did you watch it? For me, it was WrestleMania IV on a large closed-circuit television screen at Northlands Coliseum here in Edmonton, Alberta. For WCW, it was Capital Combat '90 at my friend's house on his C-Band satellite dish.

I caught the last 10 minutes of Starrcade 96 when PPVs were shown free on TV, the first full live show wasn't until World War III in 97

I'd been a fan for a long time but just had never bought a ppv before Wrestlemania 17. Hard to top that as far as buying future ppv's.

I bothered my parents to order wrestling PPVs for a long time before they gave in. My first was WrestleMania V. It was pretty cool to finally see one live but I was disappointed that Hogan beat Savage for the title. I knew he was going to because I had already figured out how storylines would progress at big events at that point. I was much happier watching Warrior beat Hogan at Mania VI the following year. Haha. It felt like forever between Manias back then. I guess that's because it feels like time moves slower when you're a kid and Manias meant so much more back then.

Earliest one I remeber watching was Vengeance 2002, but it could have been ones from earlier in the year, I just can't remember.

First, and only, PPV I ever purchased was ROH - Driven(2007). Unfortunately, when I was a kid my parents always told me they couldn't justify spending that kind of money for something you only get to watch once. That translated to me in adulthood.

This for me is a 2 part question. The first PPV I watched was the 2nd In Your House, but I didn't pay for it. I watched it on the scrambled PPV channel. I could hear everything, but could only make out a leg or arm once in a while. The first PPV I watched and paid for was Starrcade 1995 and I have no idea why I bought this show.

I used to watch PPVs in "squigglevision" starting with Starrcade '91. The first PPV I actually talked my dad into paying for was Royal Rumble '93. The first PPV I attended in person was Lockdown 2013.

Armageddon 1999. Wanted it for Big Show Vs. Big Bossman.
I was a bit of a mark, then.

Wrestlemania X in my parents' bedroom. I think I would have loved Owen/Bret and Michaels/Razor no matter what. However, for them to be a part of my first PPV experience makes those matches even more special.

Wrestlemania 8 for me. I don't think I ever actually saw a WCW PPV Live.
