That is what heels do. If the hero wins every time with no real sign of conflict and struggle, we wind up with John Cena. Plus Bryan did get the big victory at Mania. He just got injured before he could finish his holdover feud with Kane and didn't get to work with the bigger names. He got the big victory at WM, and they continued regardless to dismiss him as a B+ farm animal goat troll. The fact that they booked him to follow that victory with a shitty horror movie feud with Kane which he should have been done with ages ago is further proof IMO of marginalisation Triple H's character doesn't praise his opponent when they defeat him, he brushes it off and call it a fluke. Also heels rarely concede someone is the better man unless they are planning a sneak attack. Bryan's Mania foes were booked against the Shield and Cena continued his feud with Wyatt leaving him Kane until those feuds were over. Things would be different if Bryan didn't get sideline. WWE wanted him as champion until they had no other options but stripping Bryan of the title.

If the villain never appears truly defeated, it makes the hero's story less satisfying.

Cena is an exceptional case. He's basically the face version of HHH. So powerful, that it makes the heel's story less satisfying.

On Raw they should tease that Sting is going to appear, then during the show, they play that beautiful orchestra music, the announcers milk it for what is worth, then Sandow comes out dressed as Sting, the amount of heat would be incredible, then after insulting the crowd, then Sting descends from the rafters and hits him with the bat and drops him with the scorpion death drop....that was just for my amusement. They should introduce him normally and have the Undertaker interrupt him, they would have a stare down and the show closes.

Sting wouldn't descend from the rafters due to Owen Hart and I don't think Taker is coming back next year for Mania. He's done.

I still don't necessarily want to see him wrestle but Sting in the WWE is just right.

You know a part of him probably wishes he had done this 5-7 years ago. If not longer, the product clashed with his morals but there was so much money to be made, easy money too that he probably regrets not signing sooner.

My response:
STING?! STING! Original WCW midi theme? STING! Daniel Bryan unsure whether to stand up or sit down? STAND UP, IT'S THE ICON STING! SIT DOWN HOGAN, WE KNOW YOUR HISTORY WITH THE STINGER!
(I now feel like Mike Tenay, I am not ashamed)

Caption contest? Sting (to himself): "Okay, which of you is gonna betray me first?"

Caption contest? Sting (to himself): I sure hope Paul doesn't have another Dangerous Alliance around here.

Wouldn't be surprised if he were as badly injured as they say after the match with Lesnar. But its hard to imagine him going out without WWE making an event of it, such as a tribute show on RAW. So not convinced he is done just yet.

Ha ha! That's ace! If you skip from the bottom of page one, as I've just done - where Sting makes his (kind of) debut at a live WWE event - to page 3...we've already devolved into a argument about HHH. Love you guys.

"So Sting, what have you been doing all these years after WCW went out of business?" "I was staring into the Abyss, I got stuck upon how many Holes were left in my life, I had to deduct that maybe it wasn't good enough for me to just Parks myself in my home, hence me coming to the WWE! Life has many Sides, but from my Angle I felt that leaving myself Six with the situation at hand, I had to come back to Fourfill my destiny. Woooo!"

I'm a good bit over thirty now and have been a wrestling fan since I was four yrs old. I saw sting for the first time in 1987 and I just knew he belonged in WWF. Much later when I had chosen a side in the MNW I never wanted him to leave WCW for WWF. After the buyout I clamor end and salivated over him in a WWF/WWE ring. Now he has appeared for them. I cannot convey how it felt watching that. It was surreal. Points to WWE man, they really really know how to make a star into a superstar. He is bigger in the last three weeks than he was the last ten years.
