As far as appear I mean in original programming not just news footage or whatever of them.
Am wrong to think it is Barack Obama when he, Hilary Clinton and John McCain appeared on Raw in 2008 in pre-taped messsages. Maybe not at the time, but considering WWE had someone who is now a U.S. president on their programming that has to be tough to top.

Schwarzenegger.
I don't count the politicians since they weren't really there.

As far as actually appearing on the show and not something pre-taped, Arnold, Ali or Trump. Further down the line, the second biggest A-listers behind them you get guys like Sandler and Ozzy.

I had forgotten Ali's Mania appearance. If we're counting those, then certainly in his day he was the biggest; as in his heyday he was one of the most known people on Earth.

Donald Trump was actually in a storyline as opposed to a guest host thing, I would say him.

Another MAJOR A-lister would be Steve Allen. He may not be well-known by the younger generations today, but Allen was the biggest name on TV for many years during its early formation and for many after.
Plenty of other major names out there, but none *quite* on those levels.

Schwarzenegger. I don't count the politicians since they weren't really there. If you don't count the pre-taped presidential politicians stuff than I think Schwarzenegger will be tough to top. Trump and Ali, the ones Madison mentioned along with Arnold are pretty high as well, but I don't think either tocuh Arnold in terms of star quality.

Not just his mania appearance, but his confrontation with Gorilla Monsoon years earlier. See I totally blanked on that as well. So yeah, then it's him. Globally, they've never had anyone bigger there live.

Mike Tyson in 98 was the most recognized man in the planet. Also Bob Barker is a tv Icon, he also owned jericho that was awesome "ladies and gentlemen, it talks!" "He said one!"

Hugh Jackman is the biggest star they've had.
Smallest star they've had on? Anyone from Nascar. WWE realizes that 99% of people watching would have ZERO idea of who that is, right? Yes it's big in the south, but that's about it in the US, and the rest of the world has no idea what Nascar is.

I'm not sure I'd count ones like Mr. T or Lauper. Were they big? Absolutely, but they also had a very limited time period on their major fame. Same with Drew Carey. They'd go somewhere in, I'd say, the third level.

Yes it's big in the south, but that's about it in the US, and the rest of the world has no idea what Nascar is. Same could be said for many of the guests they have on though. Howard Stern's crew, for instance. They're "big" but they're in a very niche placement that doesn't really allow for anyone outside of Stern's followers to know who they are.

And Tyson, I'd almost be inclined to put him in with Ozzy and Sandler in the 2nd level. Huge and sustained presence, but just never quite on the same level as Arnold or Ali.

Did Stallone ever appear other than the HoF? He's a pretty big star.
