It's a different concept, wrestlers working in front of wrestlers, which makes the matches better because you want to impress your peers, even though according to an AMA on reddit of one of the promoters the pay sucks, it's weird not wrestling in front of fans. I feel it's like Wrestling's inside the actor's studio. I don't think the company was created to generate a profit, not working in front of a crowd and the quality of the video isn't very good. Hell I just saw Pinky Sanchez pull out a good match from Steve Turtle Weiner. It was awesome.

even though according to an AMA on reddit of one of the promoters the pay sucks, I think they only get paid for the shows that are actually in front of a live crowd. At least the bigger names do.

Oh they actually wrestle in front of crowds? I didn't know that, there's also a funny story about a big name they booked, and it wasn't good. Davey Richards told the promoter after his match, to pay him the money and that he would give their share to Team Ambition (Kyle and Kozina), the promoter agrees and gives him the money. Once Kozina and Kyle finished their match, they approach the promoter and ask for their pay, the promoter said that Davey took their money and said he going to give it to them, they said they didn't knew anything about that and left angrily. f*** if Davey treats his friends that way lol.

Yeah they have "Studio Tapings" which are just wrestlers, "Secret Shows" which are in front of a small crowd, and then about once a month or so they have big shows at Fete Music in Providence, RI. They actually have one this sunday.

Yup, Beyond has been running shows in Providence for about a year now. The plan is to run monthly in the future, but they're pushing to sell out the venue (Capacity is 400) before officially kicking that off. Attendance is typically between 250-300. They've sold 300+ in advance for Sunday's show, so it is looking good. The secret shows are typically held the same day as the Fete Music shows. Crowd is usually between 60-75. They're held right around the corner from Fete Music, so after the secret show wraps up, everyone walks over to Fete to get in line for the main show. The shows have all been awesome. The secret shows are very intimate and offer an extremely close vantage point. The atmosphere at Fete is awesome. The crowd is usually really into everything. Beyond even stays away from typical indy show food, with homemade items made by the promoter's mom and family. Pulled pork sandwiches, "walking tacos", and all sorts of sweets. My family and I will be at both shows this weekend, and I can't wait. If anyone is interested, go to their YouTube page for more videos. You can also purchase individual matches from all the Fete shows there. Prices range from $1.99-$4.99. www.youtube.com/user/BeyondWrestlingAlso, the secret shows are available for purchase here... lookmanofans.com/store/secret-shows/Those go for $5 and are well worth it.

The sleeper cells are basically the studio tapings that take place outside of Beyond's normal area. I know they have one in St Louis, and I think in Georgia.

One cool thing about the Sleeper Cells is that in addition to their regulars working the shows they also include talent not yet featured on other Beyond shows. For example their sleeper cell taping in McMinnville, Tennessee had John Wayne Murdoch on it who is a jam up young talent who I don't think has worked a single northeast date for anyone yet. That guy could go far in the future from what I've seen and I'd love to see him in Providence

I'd never seen him before, but had heard the name. It was cool to see him live.

Not sure if this is the match in question, but if so, it wasn't Beyond.

Lol yeah I remember this, it was the same night of the whole Team Bandit debacle, no this isn't the one, apparently it was against some guy Nick Talent, just found a preview in youtube but it doesn't shows much. Tony gets off on stretching younger guys

Oh wow, I had no idea that existed. Nick Talent still works for Beyond, but he goes by Nicholas Kaye now. I'll have to try and order that dvd at some point and check that match out.
