No. Just....no. YOU.DO.NOT.HIT.A.WOMAN. no matter how angry she could possibly make you I understand that. I really do. Ray Rice was very much in the wrong. But no one knows but them what led up to that point. It doesn't matter. Unless she had a knife or something, a dude his size could've easily restrained her from attacking him without knocking her out. There's no justification for the response he gave.

Now I'm not trying to justify what Ray Rice did or domestic violence, because it was wrong, but you can't say it was for no reason. You don't know what led up to that moment. No. Just....no. YOU.DO.NOT.HIT.A.WOMAN. no matter how angry she could possibly make you True but what if both or one of them were Drunk or high on an illegal substance. While I'm not excusing Ray Rice because regardless how high he was he had no right to hit and KO his Fiancee but people do a lot of f***ed up things when they are drunk or high so theirs that

Absolutely sickening behavior from Rice. You're a f***ing 220 pound running back and she's, what, all of 100-110 pounds? The Ravens need to do something to acknowledge this, because unlike Ray Lewis we have proof here that this guy did something.
I'm in favor of banning him from the league, but guys have done way worse and gotten a slap on the wrist so you know that won't happen.

What I don't get is how does Ray Rice look worse. Its about what I expected it to be when I heard about it so unless the fact that we can see it makes people feel differently I don't get the extra outrage on him. Now the NFL sure but Ray Rice is about the same bastard I thought he was when I heard about it Originally, it wasn't implausible to believe Rice was defending himself. Since that's what he's apparently said, this makes him a liar.

I didn't say I was justifying it. I know ya didn't. I was just saying nothing that led up to it matters. Moot point anyway as he was just released.

Wow, I want to say good on the Ravens but I cannot. Glad they did this but still. Pretty clear damage control P.R. move on their part. It's like 'yeah it's the right move, but they wouldn't have done so had the total footage and coming shitstorm not happened.'

Let's not pat the Ravens on the back too hard for making the obvious move. Don't forget everything that occurred this summer, when the organization went above and beyond defending him at every juncture.

It's possible the Ravens never saw the video before until today. I'm not sure how much access the Ravens had to that evidence during the criminal investigation process.
Man, if the NFL/Ravens had access to that video and still gave Rice a 2 game suspension and the Ravens looked the other way until it went public it makes both the team and the NFL look like a complete farce.

It's 100% PR, but it doesn't change the fact that one way or another the right thing was just done.
