That's not true, Morgan Freeman from that stupid "Lucy" trailer. I would have thought someone who has been through the wormhole so many times would know that.

I can't believe in 2014 somebody would actually make a movie who's central premise is based on a myth that can be disproven in a 30 second Google search.

Most people use 10% of their brain, you only use...1 1/2%.

I posted something along these lines on Facebook after first seeing the trailer and got flamed mercilessly. Comments ranged from "So I guess you hate every sci-fi movie with a somewhat wacky premise," to "Scarlett Johansson is hot, therefore your argument is invalid," to "You're just mad because you're not getting laid." This is why I hardly ever post on Facebook.

For people who want to see this movie, it's an accurate percentage.

I don't like it on the basis that promoting a long-debunked myth is basically promoting pseudoscience.

I'm going to change this up for any future disappointing love making sessions: "sorry about that babe, but that was only 10% of my crank!"

It's one thing if your movie is set in a fantastic world where the amazing can happen. It's another thing to center your entire movie around a long debunked piece of pseudoscience and try to claim it as a proven scientific fact.

They could also set this movie on the basis that the Earth is flat. Scarlett Johansson could telepathically throw the bad guys off the edge of the world and they could fall to the planet China.

I think it's funnier that, now she's using "100% of her brain" instead, she's evolving.
Instant evolution! The Johannson Pokemon!
