Please, to all that's good and decent: Don't let that outfit hit the shelves as part of her new K-Mart exclusive.

To quote Bischoff, controversy creates cash. Even ICP sold like a million records for being controversial in 1997/1998. I wouldn't have otherwise even known Minaj had a new album, but all this attention because of the cover has me in the know. I probably won't buy it either, but the hoopla around this will actually get the word to those in her audience that were unaware and some of them will buy it, or at least a random song or two from iTunes. Yeah, but even so, she's the most popular female rapper today by a pretty large margin. I find it rather hard to believe that she actually needs controversy to help sell her record. All she has to do is post "New album drops today" on Twitter and boom: 18 million people are in the know. Or she could do that AND have a lot of people talking about how controversial and "edgy" she is. This is just a marketing ploy, and people making a big deal about it like this is proving that she and her PR people are getting people talking.

If this was a no-name model or artist or Internet gaming blogger buried in the interwebz, this thread would be the complete opposite.
-| #DiscoveredHer |- -| #WhoIsSheWow |- -| LinksPlease |- -| PMMePlease |- -| #DatA |-
That observation probably comes off a little snarky or trolly, but it's just something that kinda baffles me and I mean to throw it out there mostly for discussion and hopefully for some self-awareness and perspective.

Well, to be fair, if she were an unknown than less of us would be aware of the fact that she's a skeezer with a big fake booty and enough hype around her to make people think she's a much better rapper than she actually is.

I...legit have no idea what point you are even trying to make here. Obviously, people are going in on Minaj because they know who she is. People can form opinions based on what they know of her, quite a bit of it being negative in this thread. That's like getting mad at people for going after Chris Brown. No shit, people know his history and how much of a scumbag he is. Not trying to say Minaj is on Chris Brown level of scumminess (or even close to it, for that matter) but what a bizarre argument to make.

That's the entire point. People acting like it's hideous and she's hideous. It's an arse. The exact thing many people (not everyone) would be drooling over otherwise. I didn't think it was a complex algorithm to see my unpopular point. Sorry I rattled the cage with the powers that be in this corner of the forum. Legit sorry. I second-guessed my post when I typed it up. I should've known it would only trigger negativity. Happens all too often. This one's my fault for not foreseeing the outcome with people.

I see your point. Thanks for not being demeaning about it to me. Valid argument.

First of all, I want to apologize for being too harsh in my last post. Really should have phrased myself in a less aggressive manner. Second, I still don't agree with that point because it seems like a preference thing above anything else. Some people just aren't into fake asses or find Nicki attractive. I'm not seeing that tying into who she is. Hell, several people in this very thread said that they will still boink her, fake ass be damned.

For a lot of people who know about Nicki Minaj, her ass being so big is part of her image so it makes sense that she's exploiting it. Besides, to be honest, I never understood the big deal about it being fake. People are more accepting towards enhanced boobs and it's not like there's a huge difference aside from being different body parts.

The question needs to be asked: What's more fake? Her ass, or Iggy Azalea's rap voice?

The question needs to be asked: What's more fake? Her ass, or Iggy Azalea's rap voice? Iggy's actual ass is also fake, so the comparison is pretty funny. Personally, I'm waiting for Iggy to just throw caution to the wind and "blacken up" because that's all she's got left to do. Really y'all, I don't need much of an excuse to hate on Iggy Azalea. I'm still hoping if I hate on her hard enough I can wish her fake ass into the cornfield.

I'd find a way. It's one of the problems you just have to face being a white ass-man. The eternal struggle. Hahahaha holy shit that is fantastic. How have I never seen this?
