I pray that TNA do not die and becomes profitable enough as it was before the hogan era so that we get an alternative and wrestlers have a bargaining chip, also where independent talent can showcase their talent. In the case their economic woes become to much for panda to continue to support, tna will be history, the list I'm about to present is where the talent is most likely to go in search of a new job. If I miss someone let me know:
I'm not counting GFW as a place that would book them because as of today they're just a name and not a company.
Announcers:
Mike Tenay: I don't think the WWE would hire him because of his age, shame cause the professor is awesome. He'll most likely have a radio show and broadcast other sports.
Taz: Enough of a name for the WWE to take back, idk if he burnt any bridge, he'd be an asset in nxt to prepare future interviewers and announcers, and how the wrestlers can do a proper interview.
Jeremy Borash: Ain't no way he's going to New York. In his AOW he told Colt that outside from tna he mc's Robert Irvine's events, so he's probably continue to work for him.
Christy Hemme: Idk, that's not a knock on her, maybe modeling but I don't know if she's too old now.
Wrestlers
Knockouts:
I see the beautiful people on the wwe after a tour of the indies, Brittany too if she improves. I'm on the fence about Madison. I don't think they would take Gail Kim back after she quit the last time, maybe as a trainer in nxt. Taryn Terrell definitely would be welcomed back she was trained in that system and has improved a lot. Brooke is gonna probably retire and focus on her modeling career.
Tag Teams/factions
The wolves: They're in a tough spot, their nxt tryout didn't end well, also Davey has done some interviews taking shots at them. Davey also burned his bridge with roh, although I'm sure Eddie would be welcomed back. If they decide to stay together, I can see japan being their main priority....oh yeah Davey burned his bridge with new japan, f***.
Bro Mans: can see them on nxt, with just a minor adjustments, they could fill the void left by 3MB.
The Menagerie: apart from Rob Terry, I don't see the wwe interested in any of them, also no major indy would book them, I can see them doing random indy stuff and conventions.
single wrestlers:
Suicide/Manik would become TJ Perkins again and be welcomed as a conquering hero in pwg.
Sanada: Back to japan.
Tigre Uno: indy tour, japan and cmll.
Samuel Shaw: Random indies with chris masters and carlito.
Bram: isn't he Ric Flair's son in law? I can see Ric pulling favors for him.
Kenny King: Weird situation, he's persona non grata in roh, an indy tour of the most well known companies (evolve/dgusa, pwg) then a tour of japan. Has the athletic ability to impress at a wwe try out, he started his career with them as part of tough enough.
Austin Aries: Burnt his bridge in ROH, too old to be hired by wwe, major indys and japan, would be a perfect fit for dragon gate, allegedly the number 2 promotion in japan, Evan Bourne can hook him up.
Gunner: f*** Gunner! Just kidding, actually he has enough heat with the internet fans that he could be a heel in roh like Matt Hardy, can't believe I used Gunner and roh in a sentence.
Abyss: I know he has a degree outside the business, and he actually invests his money wisely, I think he could just walk away, although big guys that are good are hard to come by, and wwe doesn't have that much of them, I can see him in wwe tv.
James Storm: Only if he gets back in shape, those tights are embarrassing, if he shows up fat in nxt he's gonna get the Braden Walker treatment.
Bobby Roode: he's definitely got to be on the wwe radar.
Ken Anderson: WWE or bust, he's too expensive and not good enough to put on the indy circuit. I hope he sends a basket of fruits to Randy Orton apologizing.
Lashley: IGF in japan, could become bob sapp without the sucking part. Too expensive for the indy circuit. There are news that Inoki is trying to revitalize mma in japan, Lashley could make a living just fighting carefully picked tomato cans, put him with someone decent and he gets Kimbo Sliced.
MVP: Japan is his only option, too expensive to be anywhere else, I don't know if he burned his bridge with the wwe.
Eric Young: TNA needs him more than he needs them, he's a bigger star thank to his extreme catch show, I don't see him on the wwe but he can still be a superstar just with his show.
Rockstar Spud: Could be a manager in nxt, he's about the size of Rob Naylor and he did well there.
Ethan Carter: first a pwg tour joining the Best Friends, Puerto Rico, then back to being Derrick Bateman.
Bully Ray: Definitely returning to the WWE but only if Devon is part of the package, actually tna dying or not I think something is happening, Ray burying the company every chance he has on interviews, him reuniting with Devon.
Jeff Hardy: he has less than a 10% chance of going back to the wwe, they gave him an early release just after he gave his word that he would return, only to climb a red bird cage on spike tv months later, but hey stranger things have happened, if Vince thinks he's gonna make money with him he'll be back. Too expensive for the indy circuit.
Samoa Joe: a couple of months ago I would've said no way, but after that triple h stuff in twitter, he's gonna appear in nxt any day now. If not roh and new japan.
And finally Kurt Angle, tna kicking the bucket or not, somebody at Stanford is editing his return vignette. If he wrestles or not that's a another conversation for a different thread.
