This week was one of those episodes where I regret watching the season as it airs.

We get told over and over the Alexandria residents are weak, but Pete put up a damn good fight against Rick. I had him ahead on the scorecard.

surprise cast member on Talking next week along with Carol and Daryl. It is Morgan! He shows up and kills everyone. Then we get 4 seasons of him, all alone. And it will be great. Every week I post a break down here, but I use it elsewhere to, so I started using tumblr. If you guys are interested, please read and give feed back (and here is fine, I like you lot). It is just easier to repost and to format with the blog stuff. At any rate, same stuff I post here, just on a site. a-faceless-name.tumblr.com/post/114379900480/tonight-on-the-walking-dead-k-i-s-s-i-n-g

"They'll hunt us, they'll find us, they'll try to kill us, but we'll kill them."
I am going to guess he is not talking about the Alexandrians.

I honestly believe Rick was holding back the entire time of that fight.
I don't believe he truly wanted to kill Pete, just hurt him to the point of making him wish he was dead, scared, and will remember the beating enough to never harm his wife or child again. In the end Rick was the one who wasn't unconcious on the ground.
Also, yeah I officially hate Michonne now. That was uncalled for and Rick while in a crazed state was still speaking the truth.

I don't know, I cheered Michonne hit Rick. Also, when they zoomed in on his face, part of me was expecting him to get shot in the head by Nicholas.

Yeah I saw Michonne's actions as necessary. Rick was about to f*** it up for everybody, so she had to separate the group from him. Rick's going to be back in charge soon enough, but he really needed to go another way about it. You don't just start waving a gun around, especially when there's been trust issues bubbling up.

I love crazy Rick (#PorchRick), but Michonne did the right thing there. If they want any chance in Alexandria, the others need to see that there's someone to reel in Rick.

Finally somebody in the group besides Carl to call Rick on his bullshit. (well technically Carl had to go first, but I'll take it)

yeah I was pretty glad when Michonne decked Rick. he had a point but he was acting like a crazy person and waving a gun around. In all honesty a lot of the things Rick's done since they got to Alexandria feel really stupid.

what the hell was Rick thinking pulling a gun out there? Rick has more loose screws than a Home Depot after an earthquake.

yeah I was pretty glad when Michonne decked Rick. he had a point but he was acting like a crazy person and waving a gun around. In all honesty a lot of the things Rick's done since they got to Alexandria feel really stupid. That's my big problem with Rick. That's been his increasing MO. He does the right thing in the worst way possible without anyone else's input all the time and everybody just goes with it. Only Carl, the person who should be the last one to do it, has ever called him out on his Ricktatorship. Exiled Carol and all was better with a simple apology and hug. Sent Darryl's brother out to his death to trade off Michonne and neither Darryl or Michonne said crap about him almost killing Michonne and actually killing Merl. Next to Jax Teller he's probably the biggest character who induces stupidity in his friends and allies. People who otherwise are strong characters bend over backwards to let the main character repeatedly screw them over.

Reviewed the latest episode over on the main site. www.freakinawesomenetwork.net/2015/03/the-walking-dead-s5e15-try/Great episode. Rick's speech at the end was great and Andrew Lincoln played it like a champ. That might be my favorite moment of his just because he managed to walk that line between telling them the truth and seeming completely insane at the same time.

This series is starting to lose me again, Rick is being made to be such an unlikeable character that even when he is doing the right things - saving a woman from domestic abuse - he's the one that comes across as the bigger, or at least the equal, dickhead. I suppose that is sort of the point; the world is different now, everyone has to be ruthless to survive, but equally, if you've lost your own moral compass, what is the point of surviving?
They need to tone him down or shunt the character in to the background again, or at least introduce or use an existing character to just talk him down sometimes.

Another super solid episode.. They have been on a role lately
So..
- Nice to get some Nine Inch Nails at the beginning of the Episode
- f*** you Nicholas and Pete.. Both of you need to die.
- Sasha should realise being the lone ranger isn't the smartest of ideas
- Love Interest for Carl.. Clearly the Sophia of the show now that she is dead.
- Interesting to see who these 'W' people are, I still think it's to early for Negan to show up just yet..
- Shit has pretty much hit the fan in Alexandria
This season has gone by quick...
Look forward to the finale.

At this point in the comics, I had the same thought as you. The way everything was going I figured that Rick's group were becoming the villains, which I thought was an interesting way to take the story. I won't say anything about how things panned out but certainly at this point I think we're supposed to question the morality of the group overall. And just on the second point, I can't remember how it went down in the comic, but if Rick's going to kill the doctor he isn't going to do it in cold blood. He'll think up someway of making it look like self-defence or orchestrate some sort of chaos that he can be killed in the crossfire.[/quote] {Spoiler}Pete slashes Douglas's Wife's throat on his way to kill Rick, Rick kills him with Douglas's approval. Deanna being a stand in for Douglas in the show

I doubt the Wolves will do much more than show up in the last 10 minutes of the finale. And I'm still on board with them being a stand-in for the Scavengers instead of the Saviors. There's no way anything about Negan and co should be tweaked. Even Darryl needs to be there.
