You do all realize this was intended as a joke thread? Ambrose is good looking and he plays the bad boy-so naturally, women go ga ga for him. Like I said in another thread, he's Stanley Kowalski. I misread this post and thought you said Dean Ambrose was akin to Stanislavski. Wait a minute...method acting...maybe he IS comparable! Clearly Rusev is the Meyerhold, the KGB will have him killed sooner rather than later.

Dean Ambrose is perfect. He has that grizzled bad boy personality, yet he's conventionally attractive enough to corner the female/gay male market. He can fill the "anti authority" rebel role that guys like John Cena and Daniel Bryan could never fully fill because of their white bread All American do-gooder hero presentation.

The trick is to not wash your hair. So you LOOk like a disheveled hobo, but you don't smell like one. I wish all disheveled hobos looked like Dean Ambrose. To be fair bro if that was the case you'd probably have been arrested by now.

He's basically got that good-looking dirtbag thing going for him. Kind of the scruffy bad-boy who cleans up well.
Pretty much the same sort of attraction women had toward CM Punk, only without the tattoos and the douchiness.

At some point in the next couple years, he's gonna have to decide whether he's gonna cling to the hair or not. Combing it forward doesn't work forever.

Just like men, women have different tastes, and some like Ambrose. Some women are into bad boys because they know that even though they are rough around the edges, they are tough enough to protect them and won't let others treat their woman badly. Double edged sword. Those same bad boys can also mistreat their own women. Too true. And that's exactly why men that aren't bad boys themselves can't understand why women like those guys.

I mean, like, if Paige showed up on Raw tomorrow in torn up jeans, a greasy tank top and her hair was messy, would any guys (myself included) who are attracted to her suddenly be like "OH NO, THAT'S OFF LIMITS?" I think not.Keep in mind how men received Michelle McCool losing a pound, Mickie James gaining a pound, Melina having sex with someone who wasn't John Morrison when they weren't even together and Natalya being bitchy on a reality show. Men and women are strange creatures, just different in their strangeness.

Ah, yes: taking behavior exhibited by a small group of people, arbitrarily attributing it to gender without reason, and then acting like it's incomprehensible when it's clearly not. Fun for everyone.

I get what you're saying, though I think that's a different matter altogether; those have less to do with the subject sexes and more to do with the rumors associated with each one. E.g. Mickie James was out of shape at one point, huffing and puffing in the ring (she got back into shape later on, then Piggie James happened), and Michelle had very suspicious health issues (liver endzymes? wut?). Dean Ambrose and the grime is just about plain old sexual attraction. The Natalya thing is just bizarre. A lot of people are clearly joking about it, but some people seem to legitimately believe that's how she acts, like you said, on a staged show made by a staged wrestling company. That'd be like going to a Comic Con and complaining about comics fans and old celebrities. What were you expecting? The Mevlevi Dervishes?
