Was there ever a month where the card of the other company was SO GOOD that you switched for a month? Either way I would always find someway to watch both events, but back in 1997 I almost exclusively ordered WCW PPVs. However, I had to get SummerSlam 1997! The card was just so strong, featured the Harts heavily (who I loved then and now) and the WCW card by comparison was pretty underwhelming.
I also came close with Canadian Stampede, but decided against it. I'm sure it was better than the WCW show that took place that month, but IIRC the WCW show did have that Benoit/Sullivan match that was a lot of fun. So at least there was some good stuff about it.

I was strictly a WWF kid, but Hogan's WCW debut in 94 and The Outsiders at Bash 96 had me hooked. From then on, I almost always still got WWF, but I got the occasional WCW.

Hogan wrestling at WCW in 1994 i think may have been the first ever PPV we got from my house. Before that I watched them elsewhere or family friend's would give us tapes of them.

The only WCW PPV I ever watched live was... On looking it's Souled Out 2000, but literally the only thing I remember about the show is that Kidman had multiple matches and the last one was The Wall. I had to look up that match to see which show it was, and I have no idea what led to it being ordered.

I actually did that with TNA once and ordered the PPV that had Angle/Joe for the first time.

Only WCW PPV I ever ordered was Hog Wild. Stuck with WWF after that.

I could never watch either on PPV cause they didn't have PPV in my area till 96 when my Uncle first had it. My friends at the time watched more WCW ones but I'd try to beg them to chip in for WWF ones. (Cue the haha your Uncle's dead jokes and I'll be unemployed soon as a result).

We had a box so no ordering
I can't recall anything from WCW pay-per-views after Starrcade 1998 besides Mysterio unmasking and the human torch match so that should explain that much

Sin the following January was fun though , ?

WWF guy here.
1998, we got both Fully Loaded & Bash At The Beach in July. Mainly for Hogan/Rodman vs. DDP/Karl Malone, but the main match I'd watch off of that show was the Eddie vs. Chavo hair vs. hair match.
If we're not talking specific months, we did get Halloween Havoc & Survivor Series within a three-week span, if that counts.
The other WCW event we got was SuperBrawl 1999, but I didn't order any WWF shows between Royal Rumble & WrestleMania.

Separate question but does anyone from the UK know where you could've watched WCW ppvs? I was mainly WWF and watched bits of Nitro and their show on Channel 5 but i never recall seeing a wcw ppv or any channel that advertised one.

The only WCW PPV I have actually seen was Slambroee 1998. The one with Jericho announcing the battle royal participants. Except I saw it on VHS.

I wasn't allowed to order PPVs for the majority of the war.
I forget when I started but when I did I only watched the WWF.
