So a new guy comes in, with a manager. He fights fair and plays by the rules. His manager though, cheats on his behalf, without the guy knowing. So the guy wins all his matches, not knowing he's done it unfairly. The crowd boo the shit out of him, as he acts delusionally confident, and can't understand why people boo him.
Thoughts?

They did something like that with Sharmell and Booker, with her cheating without him noticing, but I can't remember whether Booker revealed he knew about it after he turned.
Either way, over seven years ago, and it's a really good idea for a gimmick for a few months.

I was thinking be could act the face, but finally get frustrated with the crowd reaction and use it as his heel turn motivation. Maybe he's a foreigner, and blames the reaction on the 'racist' audience.

Back in the Invasion, this is how I wanted them to book The Hurricane when he was technically a heel, pair him with Lance Storm who does all the cheating while the superhero doesn't know about it and fights fair.
With the lack of managers, maybe this would work in a tag team instead.

I dunno, Bo I'd see more being totally knowing about this, but giving really disingenuous admonishments and apologies afterwards.

Use it for this Miz/Bo thing where Miz keeps helping Bo beat Ziggler and Bo just thinks he's that awesome AWWWWWWWSOOOOOME.

I still think that Booker/Benoit was one of the best feuds of the mid 00's. The best of seven series was amazing, along with the storyline.

It seems to detailed and minute to work in my opinion. I think most fans would just boo they guy from the start and never get that he didn't know his manager was cheating for him.

Sounds tremendous. The moment where the guy finds out that his wins weren't his own work is an amazing chance for characxter development. It could create a character similar to Daniel Bryan's "I'M NOT THE WEAK LINK" angle, where the person is hellbent on proving their self-worth and wants no help from anyone, no matter what.

I'd prefer a Mr Burns gimmick.
