It's a hard fought match, but eventually Christian counters the FU into the Killswitch and plants him for the one-two-three! And with that Christian is your new WWE Champion!
Afterward the two men shake hands as a sign of good sportsmanship. And with that Christian has finally fulfilled the dream.
Following this match we would see Money in the Bank split off for a few years into two matches, and instead of at Wrestlemania it would have its very own pay per view. Now their would be two briefcase: one for the World Heavyweight Championship and the other for the WWE Championship. The question is how would this change things?
And so we flash forward to Money in the Bank and the World Heavyweight Championship briefcase match. Eight men have qualified to earn that championship title shot, but who will it be tonight?
Will it be the Big Red Monster, Kane?
The Doctor of Thuganomics, John Cena?
The man who will still never die, Matt Hardy?
The World's Largest Athlete, The Big Show?
Vickie Guerrero's client, Dolph Ziggler?
The Ghanan Sensation, Kofi Kingston?
The Sinister Scot, Drew McIntyre?
Or the newcomer to this particular match, Cody Rhodes?
Only time will tell. So let's find out who claims the first case tonight.
(Since Christian beat Cena for the WWE Championship I replaced him for this match with John Cena. I figured it was either that or just have it be seven guys.)
