I was going to make this thread after Raw but only remembered about it now.
I may be wrong, I may have misheard, but during the Roman Reigns match, he hit his (I think) dropkick on the apron thing he does, and I'm almost certain Cole said "vintage Reigns."
Again, I may have imagined it so did someone else hear it? Because if so, that is easily the stupidest comment Cole has said in a long time.

Am I missing something? Why is that stupid? I know that vintage traditionally means older than say six months, but Reigns has been doing that apron dropkick for a while now and I can't imagine he'll stop anytime soon.

If he did it would've sounded better saying Retro Reigns, you know....be cause of the double Rs.

A guy who's been in the company little over a year isn't "vintage" anything. If he's "vintage" what's a guy like Orton? Ancient?

I just look at it as a figure of speech rather than something to be taken literally. Basically, Cole is saying that Reigns always does it and he always will do it. It's a part of who he is and we should all expect it as if it's been happening forever.
I really hope I'm making sense.
Speaking of vintage, I like how one guy's avatar has old school Undertaker while the other has ..... old Undertaker.

Sounds better than "Trademark Reigns!" or "Same ol' Same ol'!"

It's a Michael Cole catchphrase. If you look at things that happen in wrestling too literally you go down a road you may never return from.
