If the numbers aren't at around 900,000, they will be deeply concerned. If they've dropped below the initial number, they will be in full-blown panic mode. The former will see the stock price go down, but not the dramatic drop we saw with the initial figure. If it's below the initial figure...well, they might wanna just take all the pones at Titan Towers off the hook. I don't think they can drop, because of the 6 month commitment.

I told one of the chicks that I signed up literally the first 30 seconds the Network was available, could I have a shirt.. I am sure you know the answer to that.

While I doubt that it would be a substantial drop, anyone whose payment didn't go through or found a way around it and was able to cancel via PayPal and so forth could cause some numbers to drop. Not sure how that works though.

People stop payment either through Paypal or on their credit cards, only use a prepaid card they never reload or anything like that and the account is suspended. I guess they could count those toward the number of subs but that would cause enormous issues and come out in the amount of money the Network brought in. All that said, it will not matter what number the Network is at, the stock is dropping back into the single digits again. When the initial numbers were over half of what WWE said their target was by year's end and it still dropped, it showed damn well that nothing this does will prop up the stock price. Wall Street expected a day 1 success, didn't get it and nothing will change the perception that it is a failure.

The price will be so low, if it had a voice, it would make Barry White sound like High Pitch Eric.

Being the financial expert that I am (by which I mean, I have no financial expertise whatsoever), I doubt the price will change dramatically. Here's the stock price since WWE went public in 1999: Where it is now, is about its long-term average. The only reason it fell so precipitously last time was because it was so inflated due to Vince talking up network subscribers and the TV deal (the second half of that plunge only came when the TV deal was announced - over a month after the initial network subscription numbers were announced. That low point this year was the week the TV deal was announced). So, basically, assuming that the network has even just modest growth (say, increasing subscriber counts from the 667k announced the day after Mania to ~800k now), I doubt there will be a big drop (as in, I seriously doubt it's dropping below $10). If the network numbers are really bad (say, staying below 700k), which would seem to suggest that the network would be unsustainable (if 4 months after the initial numbers there is little growth, there may not be much more growth to expect, at least domestically), then the stock should see a significant tumble. But, again, I'm basically talking out of my ass, so I could be wrong. For all I know, a disappointing, if still ok number, could cause people to flee and make the stock go down further. But I would guess against it.

Depends on if they buy TNA by then. Will that help or hurt their stock price!?

Honestly, the fact the Network isn't a bigger hit is mind boggling. If you are even semi interested in WWE, why would you not have it? Because to a large portion of the fanbase, they watch WWE because it's an "it's just there" kind of thing, and having to pay, no matter what the amount, is a big mental hurdle for a lot of people to get over. See also: phones and people that won't ever spend a dime on apps. Edit: As far as the question at hand, I don't think it'll be a big drop simply because the instant panic people already left after the first network numbers came out. I don't see it going too much below $11. But if it does go under $10? I'm in!

$9.33 Which isn't to say it isn't going to drop lower on Thursday. I'm seeing it getting back to near $10.00 by the end of the day.

To be fair, a lot of people still don't have good enough Internet service to stream constant 720p. Netflix doesn't have that problem because you can stream at lower resolutions if you have slower Internet, but with WWE Network it just looks like shit if you try with slower service.
