Been looking to see it for awhile and the rating on RT has helped. For those who have seen it, how is it?

Saw it on Friday; very good, very fun. It doesn't take itself too seriously as there is some very funny humour and best of all the action is consistently awesome.
Some pretty good performances too, but you'd expect that out of names like The Rock and Ian McShane.

yes Ian McShane is hilarious throughout the whole film, It was way better than I expected, there are a couple of cheesy lines- but It didnt take anything away from it . Some nice plot twists - some very very sexy ladies.Overall I'd give it a Solid A

Was wondering about this. Thinking of seeing Mon. or Tues. along with Lucy.
Did anyone try the 3D version? Just wondering if it is worth the extra dollar.

I thought it was "meh" at best
The Disney movie is still my definitive Hercules flick

I'm working all week so I won't be able to hit the theater up until Friday and I can't decide between this or guardians of the galaxy. I keep going back and forth.

The first 5 minutes were great.
The second 15 minutes made me want to walk out.
The rest made me cheer with giddy glee at the spectacle.

I've heard "if Brett Ratner's Hercules starring The Rock" appeals to you, then you're in for a treat.

Really enjoyed it. It's a fun take on Herc, and Rock is always fun.
Lots of cool stuff for the 3d too, if you're into that.

It was decent. Nothing I'll rush out to see again, but it was a fun afternoon matinee watch.

I get so tired or the revisionist, "realistic" stuff, especially with the movies based on. Greek mythology.
I just wanna see a dude with a beard throw a lightning bolt at a monster.
Is that really too much to ask?

Just finished that and am in another theater waiting to see Lucy right now. Herc. was a lot of fun, nothing blow away must see but worth the $5 to see it. It also had the best use of 3D of any of the 3D films I've seen.

Is that really too much to ask? On one hand, I agree with you. Troy was awful in that regard. But this movie had Hercules chuck a horse with one hand. I can't hate that.
