Whilst it would be damaging for TNA to lose their TV deal, they will only go out of business if the Carter Family decides to pull the plug, as she owns TNA not the TV Network (i.e WCW). I would take the big risk (big risk because ROH are cracking the European market now) and relocate to Europe for a year or so if you have to lose talent because of that then so be it, reinvent yourself (again) and enjoy the flexibility of production over there, then once you have a clear mindset of which direction you want to go in and where you wan to be 2 years from now, submit pilot shows to any US outlet and see if they would be interested. This is if the Carters want to still fund the thing, if not, then they're done.
There is going to be people on here gloating about it, but even though I hardly watched, I feel sorry for those who work there and liked the company.
Spike deal: Apparently renewed
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 20, 2014) – President Dixie Carter issued the following statement today:
“IMPACT WRESTLING will remain a vital part of Spike TV's programming on Wednesday nights, 9/8c, through the end of the year. Negotiations remain ongoing beyond this time frame.”
Tonight marks IMPACT WRESTLING’s official move to Wednesday nights. Tune in at 9/8c for the most anticipated night of hardcore wrestling on television. One of TNA’s most popular annual Pay-Per-Views “Hardcore Justice,” will be featured tonight, free on Spike TV.
