Instead of making jokes and wishing it would just die already, I legitimately hope TNA can turn it around. Same, I know TNA's track record is poor/inconsistent, but in an ideal world they'll keep going and keep entertaining people and somehow draw better at house shows. All whilst the company doesn't treat it's talent poorly. I mean, I know that's a lot to ask and it likely won't happen but still. And then I remember #ItHappens and a variety of other things...damn, in two minds y'know? TNA is Lindsey Lohan. Every time you think they are about to turn the corner to finally live up to their potential, you find them strung out on coke and flashing vadge in front of the cameras.

And at the same time I guess you could say TNA were Too Young To Die. I knew I was in trouble for the moment I laid eyes on you (Russo) Dangerously, I can feel the chemistry around the room (Angle's painkillers & Hardy's felony) Something deep inside told me to think twice, I knew (The network doesn't care) But I went ahead what a stupid thing to do (#ItHappens) Now I'm in trouble

I like vadge.

Either Dixie is legitimately close to another TV and this is a favor by Spike so they don't have a long down time before that starts or she begged enough hoping this will help her find a deal in the interim

I apologise for the lack of sarcasm, schadenfreude or pre-emptive grave pissing, but this news pleases me greatly. The more access I have to Wrestling on tv the better.

They may remember WCw if TNA would suffer the same fate.
WCW was supposed to stay on the air until Jamie Kellner showed up and immediately killed wrestling on the networks. TNA's shows could be terminated immediately at anytime.

Why I hope that this does save TNA I am very glad that at least this way they can work out a proper final episode if it does not work out.

Dixie must give that 5 star dome to get another 3 months on Spike.
Honestly, I'm way past the point of caring one way or another. I tapped out a few weeks ago and my tv viewing is more enjoyable than ever. Live and let die.

I hope this leads to a solid deal for both parties. Losing TNA would be huge for the wrestling business, no matter anyone's personal feelings about the company.

Instead of making jokes and wishing it would just die already, I legitimately hope TNA can turn it around. I would really like to have this attitude, but the problem is that TNA's brand and reputation have been absolutely destroyed for some time. Even if TNA can secure a decent TV deal, they have very little opportunity for growth as the greater wrestling fanbase knows of TNA Impact Wrestling, but has been convinced over time that it isn't worth the time to follow or spend money on. It may be very bad in the short term if TNA dies, as a lot of talented people will be out of jobs with very few openings out there, but I really want to see if someone else can occupy the #2 North American wrestling promotion slot with a clean slate and fresh ideas. The possibility won't exist with TNA languishing around doing the same 1.0 rating for an eternity.

My hope is that this will lead to Spike and Viacom pushing for majority ownership in TNA. They clearly have incompetent people working there, especially after the Bully Ray situation. Management needs to change. I really hope Spike tries to f*** them over on this one. In order to stay on the air, they need to own the company, at least the majority of it. And if they don't give that up, they lose their deal.

Sure you lose a wrestling show on TV but why would you support a bog-standard company and product? Just find an indy that you like and see them.

Not only will those wrestlers be out of jobs, it will negatively affect WWE as well once The likes of Angle and Jeff go crawling back and get the stupid nostalgia demigod treatment, and you know it will happen. I want to see a promotion rise up as well, but if they become #2, I'd rather it be because they've surpassed TNA in popularity, not by just slipping into that spot by default.

TNA slipped into the number 2 spot by default because of their cable tv deal and Panda Energy's money. It wouldn't be that hard to surpass TNA in popularity when a vast majority of non wrestling fans don't know it even exist.

Ir probably doesn't help that talking to someone else about TNA is more often than not bound to lead to some very awkward conversations. That makes it very difficult to really recommend to other people. "So yeah, I was watching TNA the other night." "OK... Why are you telling me this?" "No, no. TNA Wrestling." "Oh yeah... that place where all the ex-WWE guys go. Why?" To be fair they did try to alleviate that by renaming the show Impact Wrestling, but I suspect that's nowhere near as prevalent in most casual fan's minds. I mean if there are still people out there who refer to the WWE as the WWF, then I bet most people still think of TNA using those ridiculous initials.
