So aye - Drew returned home to ICW in another 1000+ sell out show. Expected him to make an appearance but surprised at the impact.
Amazing why he flopped. He was fantastic on the mic last night and is a f***ing huge guy!
CM Punk showed up as well.

CM Punk also lost the title of Best in the World to the REEEEEEEEEEEEEAL ICW Champion Mark Coffey. Jackie Heyman was fantastic. That whole segment was fantastic, shame the This is Your Life segment was the drizzling shits. Especially after some wanker in the crowd right where I was standing flung a drink in the ring, causing McLoving the ref and the entire security team to descend into the area.

So close to having a new champion as well. Instead we've got like another month or so of the same boring Jester matches.

They dressed wee Cristy up as CM Punk. Aha! I knew that CM Punk still had it in him.

That promo was good. But not for ICW. The whole idea of Galloway doing whatever to get what he wants won't work when he's the returning hero. If anything Jester should have been the one to turn, the jilted wife for the returning ex

So is Drew playing up the 'ex-wwe guy' gimmick? Seems like the kind of thing the ICW crowd would devour.

They're would have been a bigger impact if Jester nailed Drew with the corkscrew. Jester was considered the face of ICW up until now, Drew coming back hampers that (at least short term it does). Also I guarantee that Jester's spot in Insane Fight Club 2 (which is happening) will now be Drew's.

Hmm, a briefcase cash in for a title? Can't think where I've seen that before. And they wonder why these feds aren't taken seriously.

A bit unfair to say that given that this is the first time a briefcase has been used in the three years that the Square Go title shot has existed. In the previous two years the winners (Red Lightning & Mikey Whiplash) have pretty much just walked out and said that they're using their match. And rest assured, ICW is taken plenty seriously.

Looking forward to see how the Milhouse shows play out this month, and then they're back in Glasgow the weekend after - it's surely the first time they've run a show every weekend in a month. Plenty of room for big time storyline progression.
Galloway adds a big time dynamic to the main event, even though Jimmy Havoc also turned heel on Jester recently. Maybe Galloway's the big time heel for the big shows, while Havoc will be more regular?

Maybe Galloway's the big time heel for the big shows, while Havoc will be more regular? I don't think Galloway's a heel. Yeah he attacked Jester but the promo he gave wasn't overtly heel. It was more like a statement of intent, he even said at one point "If I'm willing to do that to my friend, imagine what I'll do to others". It seems like ICW are phasing over to Drew being THE guy in ICW as opposed to Jester, who has looked considerably weak since gaining the title I might add.
