Maybe they don't want to encourage more people to try and rob him.

Ah. I've been a bit out of the loop the past week. I was aware of the Rusev story getting picked up quite a bit but didn't know all these articles about Bryan existed

I find it a bit weird WWE's not covering the fact David Otunga has a cameo in General Hospital.
Hell, David Otunga's mainstream presence seems to have been ignored completely by WWE which is weird considering that he's in WWE Studio's most successful film.

They’ll make a big deal out of certain random little things at times then when they do have something worth mentioning they’ll ignore it. For instance, Batista’s role in Guardians of the Galaxy seems like something that WWE should be making a bigger deal of. And Cena has landed roles in what will probably be the two biggest comedy movies of 2015 and I don’t think they’ve even thought to mention that yet.

I read that they're thinking about bringing it up in the future in which that the guys who robbed them were hired by Triple H and Stephanie. Wonder if they'll actually do it. It would also explain how they stripped Daniel of the title and had it on Raw without him knowing about it.

What would be the point? He's not likely to be on TV for a long while yet anyways, why even bother? doh, because if not they are burying him

It made mainstream news all over the UK. The general consensus and tone of the reports were "what kind of idiot breaks into a wrestlers house?"

Maybe because they don't want to promote the idea of chasing down the street after robbers?
"Your hero Daniel Bryan got robbed but he chased them down and choked them out. What a guy!"
One week later: 'Wrestling fan shot dead after chasing robber like WWE hero Daniel Bryan'
Bit extreme maybe but Bryan did a stupid thing that worked out for good, you don't promote it.

Here's a press conference regarding the news. Lesson Here (besides the freaking obvious): If an athlete is chasing you, you are normally screwed, unless you have another guy with you and in that case, all you have to do is outrun him.

If you chased after a robber specifically to emulate Daniel Bryan you earned that Darwin Award.

They couldn't even fit Ambrose onto the show last night and he, I'm assuming, has a match at SummerSlam. Clearly strapped for time.

Because Bryan doesn't matter and Brie didn't do anything. On top of that having to explain how a guy with a bad neck, arm and everything else can chase down and choke out a burglar but not wrestle would cause a lot of minds to exploded both behind the scenes and in the crowd.

Wouldn't that give WWE more bragging material, though? Cuz this whole thing in kayfabe means that performing for the WWE is harder than fighting crime.

This isn't really something they should promote, not surprised they didn't.
If you're coming home and you see two strangers running out of your house...let them go and just call the police. Especially if you're unarmed.

Something something, Triple H didn't do... uhh, Orton's thighs... ah, here it is. He's a bum who WWE hates and think he's a loser. Free square, forget any evidence that flies in the face of my theory and- ooh, ooh!
I did it, I got the smark bingo! If that Domo-Kun isn't still in the prize closet, I'm choking somebody!
