I'm just curious to see what you guys think. I don't really have much of an opinion on it as I could see anyone on the list having their own show. Yes, even the last 2, although admittedly they are joke options. I included Sulu since he had been rumored to get his own show, and people seemed to really want that. I also wanted to make sure not to list anyone who had been killed off like Data.
But really I'm just interested in what you guys think, with the franchise having been reestablished in its current form, I don't see it going back to the previous canon. Still fun to discuss though.

I would have liked to see a Seven of Nine and EMH buddy duo spin-off/sequel to Voyager, maybe not as a full TV show, but at least a comic book or a short story collection.
I think it's criminal that (as far as I know) we never had any EMH/Data, Seven/Data or Seven/Picard interactions after Voyager got back home, that would just write itself.

Eh... Q only works in small doses. They had a 4 episode story arc for Q on Voyager and it was pretty shite. I'd be down for a klingon series though. Or maybe a mixed klingon and ferengi mercenary/rogue trader crew.

so you don't want to see Q traveling the universe tormenting all the races he finds? could even have another Q following making up for the other Q

I also think that the Klingons need their own series. It'd bomb, but it'd be interesting.

Besides with really the exception of a select few, Klingon characters don't have room for character development. They all have a death wish, even Worf. To try and make complex pure Klingons that aren't half human or such is a really hard sell to be honest. At least to me. As for the poster who wanted Garak, well when I listed Bashir as an option, I had Garak in mind to be his partner lol.

A Riker series would be the most hirsute and manliest piece of SciFi TV ever

A Riker series would be the most hirsute and manliest piece of SciFi TV ever While I certainly wouldn't disagree that a Riker series would have been great, I maintain that a gritty Thomas Riker series set after he joined the Maquis would have been even manlier.

Star Trek: Balls Deep starring Commander Riker
Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of Riker's Penis. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new poontang, to seek out new chicks and new orifices, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

I voted Kira, thinking a prequel series set in the Occupation.
Garak/Bashir as undercover agents would also be amazing, given what happens in the last couple of series, which I won't spoil for Deathstroke.

The Riker series needs an episode of someone trying to teach him how to sit down like a normal person Riker does sit like a normal person. It's the rest of us who are doing it wrong.
