I'm sure the 7% of their workforce they let go are thrilled...

I sold earlier in the year. I don't regret it still. I barely broke even with all of their fluxuation.

They did better than their internal projections. It's good news for them. Hell, it can be considered great news really. They were more down to Earth this time around. They still lost 14 million over the quarter but they projected 15 to 19. They vastly overshot the initial network projection and thats what hurt last quarter.
I think the stock will level off today, its early into the day. I still have shares, but not going to sell. I did well when it hit its high.

At any rate the point of this thread isn't "lets make money on WWE stock" and how much it went up is really irrelevant.
The point is, it didn't crash as many on here were talking about.

I don't get any of this stuff.
Bottom line: are my wrestling stories still on my telly box? They are? All I need to know.

What's odd about this is that the stock market is down over 200 points today so far.
A lot of people out there are selling a lot of stuff.
.......yet WWE, which is expecting bad news (that's what I take from the talk this past week), is up.
Huh.

I told ye all to sell high and then short the stock. But did anyone listen to market expert JTG Fan? Noooo.

The rest of WWE's business is doing well, which is leading Wall Street to believe in Vince's Wolf Tickets again about the Network's growth.

The bad news was already priced into the stock. The numbers would have had to have been way worse then those projections for the stock to take another hit.
