He's working as a TV lawyer or something?
We just had a huge roster clean out and the guy who's been missing pretty much since the 2013 Royal Rumble somehow missed the cut?
Don't get me wrong, I like Otunga's gimmick and would like him back on my TV screen, I just don't get how he actively seems to be working as a lawyer at the moment but is still under contract.
Is it really just so when the press snaps a photo of Hudson he's in the byline as "WWE Superstar" ?

I think he still does a lot of press/be a star/assorted corporate appearances, or he did until recently. The company likes to trot out a Harvard-educated lawyer for those things, and they do love the Hudson connection. It all goes back to an inferiority complex - they want to be taken seriously as major corporation, and they think little things like this help. But really, I think they have made that transition, and don't really need Otunga.

Google what his family's been going through. It's something no family should have to go through and I'm glad the WWE hasn't released him.

Married to Grammy award winning musician, legit lawyer with a law degree from Harvard and a wrestling fan. Why wouldn't they keep him on the roster? He's good PR, and they can trust him to do an interview or press junket without making an ass of himself.

I actually really like Otunga. I'd like for him to be back on TV again soon, maybe as a manager.
My fantasy booking is him tag teaming with Jessie Godderz and making a stable with The Miz called "Reality Is".
