Okay, lately it seems like the simplest of rules are being broken more often than they should. So let's take a moment to discuss whether or not any of you have actually taken the time to read the rules. Please vote in the poll, which obviously leaves you anonymous, but don't hesitate to discuss our rules and this topic, either.
Go ahead. Discuss.

I did when I first joined.
Sometimes I do slip up but I try to learn from my own mistakes.

I read them when I first joined up and when I'm not sure about something I'm about to post.

You know, I was gonna make my usual "f*** Da Police" comment but I get the feeling this is meant to be a serious topic. I read the rules when I first signed up for the forum.

When I first joined, I read them. However I know I can't quote them verbatim.
However, just being a decent courteous human being keeps you out of trouble 90% of the time.

All I know is there's been a lot of long time people forgetting about the WWE embedding rule that should know better. Also still getting a few "not to be political but (insert completely politcal comment here)" posts. That stuff bugs me a lot more than a filter dodge or someone putting a bare ass in a sig.

Skim from time to time. I didn't when I first joined and it shows. Thank God I didn't get banned that one night in 2008 when I made a bad thread that got deleted quickly and then made that exact same thread again a few mins later after deletion. I didn't think I even got a warning. Thank you humanoid and other mods not banning my ass.

Aw man, Magiconz has gone straight corporate on us. Say it ain't so! But yeah, I like to think I follow the rules. And when I don't--- such as when I forget to change the file size of my avatars--- I always try and remedy said mistakes ASAP.

Skim them every now and again, mostly I rely on good judgement and thinking about what I post.

I don't really care enough to read them. I just use common sense and talk to people on here like I would in a normal conversation. Plus, I never post videos but I already knew about the whole embedding thing.

Yes. I read them when I first signed up. Remembered them. Sometimes I look back over the rule about sig sizes if I'm making a new sig. I read the stickied announcements and reminders.

I skim 'em. I try to use common sense most of the time. During my time here, I've been PM'd twice in regards to rules, and I believe I was warned once. The first PM was an honest mistake when I was still new here. The second time(the warning) was TOO SWEET's fault.

Not only did I read them, I also cribbed them for my own fora. I personally think they're the best, as in best explained and mostly well-enforced/moderated, that I've seen online.

Think the biggest misconception is putting things in spoiler tags makes something okay.
It doesn't.
