As he said, until there's an official announcement, I won't hold my breath.
That said, hopefully so.

I don't like THE T'challa... but I'm not opposed to A T'challa.

I'm still hoping for Idris Elba. Idris can still do T'Chaka.

Elba's probably not being in the movie because of this. I mean I guess it's not completely out of the question but they haven't had the same actor play two characters in the same universe yet.... though they did replace two (that I can think of) and no one in universe noticed <_< >_>

And no one seemed to notice renowned scientist Bruce Banner going from this to this... Maybe they thought it was a side effect of the Gamma Radiation?

I still don't want to see BP until after the Thanos story is concluded.
Said it before, saying it again, but aside from the obvious, BP brings nothing to that story that others already in the movies can't do. You can't take Wakanda to space.
Marvel should look to beat DC to the punch and do Captain Marvel before they do Wonder Woman, while announcing BP for that announced post Avengers slot.
However, if they do decide to make a BP movie before A3, who wants to beat Vibranium becomes an Infinity 'stone?'

I think Black Panther could add to the Thanos battle. Wakanda is ridiculously advanced, so they could create weapons to fend off a cosmic threat like Thanos. As well as that, BP is straight up badass, and I really want him to get a movie.

He is badass and all but who do you use for a villain. His main villains are Klaw and M'Baku

As well as that, BP is straight up badass, and I really want him to get a movie. They have Tony, Bruce and all that former SHIELD tech for that. BP needs time to set his world up, he'd work better as the unannounced film for 2019 - lead the new generation of films and not be tied in to having to tie in to something else. Otherwise, on paper, the character a bit of a 'Mary Sue' - a rich tech genius who is also a science genius and an engineering genius with Batman level 'prep time' abilities and his own army because he is a king of his own country and he can beat everyone because he is also a master of martial arts, oh, and he knows some magic and can talk to and channel his dead ancestors and all their knowledge and abilities but he has no actual powers just because he is cool!!! - going to need to work on that one to make it work for the general audience and giving him a Thanos tie in, for me, isn't how you do it

I still would love to see Chiwetel Ejiofor play T'Challa, but Chadwick Boseman would be great, too.
