So what was his last match in the WWE? Against Orton at SummerSlam 2006. But yeah, there's no way he gets cleared when his spine is basically a lead pipe.

Is this a classic case of Hogan talking rubbish in order to desperately try and stay relevant? Imagine if he actually had any integrity anymore - the amount he could do to build up those on the roster now with small comments here and there could be game changing for some. Instead when someone sticks a microphone in his face it's still all about him.

Plus, I get the feeling Hogan would put himself through hell for a proper send off match, and much needed payday.

What's he had, about half a dozen back operations in the last few years? And a couple on his knees and hips?
The skepticism is understandable at least. Unless his last op was a major miracle worker, he's in a situation where he can pump his pythons up as much as he likes but he can't bump and he can't hit his finishers. He's basically down to the Turret of Punches (tm) and ringside brawling.
Run-in (well, walk-in) to fight off a heel ambush? Absolutely! Do that. Trying to do an actual match? I'm really unconvinced.

At this point even Droz is in better ring shape than him, there's no way they're gonna bring him back, also every time hogan is signed as a performer he has that creative control shit.

It was just a matter of time before Hogan wanted such a moment in the spotlight. I hope he comes to his senses, the role he has now is perfect for him.

Hogan is physically incapable of putting on a good match, his back is wrecked so can't perform 90% of his moveset I'm sorry, this is Hulk Hogan you're talking about isn't it? What's 90% of a clothesline exactly? Or a punch. The only thing he can't do is the leg drop but that's only a finisher. He can pretty much do 90% of what he's done since the 90s...which isn't a lot. If the guy can throw a punch and stop and rake someone's eyes and punch some more then his repertoire is pretty much in tact. So what about suplexes, slams, corner punches, big boot and of course bumping for others? Because he can do that

I don't think they would even let him take the softest of bumps. Best he could probably do is be a special referee in a match and maybe knock someone over the ropes (or maybe tease the leg drop but the heel gets dragged out the ring)

He's not training
It's just his physiotherapy.

The idea of seeing Hogan take an AA makes me so uncomfortable

I definitely want to see Hogan have his retirement match in WWE, but in no way should it be something where he has to take any bumps. Even if it's something like Bret vs. Vince, it really should be that Hogan gets a proper sendoff match in WWE.
Best case scenario is that it goes down like Hogan vs HBK - he gets someone who can bump like a pinball, making him seem like '80s Hogan while actually having to carry very little of the action himself. If he was a big enough name, I'd say put him against Dolph Ziggler.

I don't think Hogan deserves to have a sendoff match in WWE. He had years to do that since the collapse of WCW. His match against The Rock at WMX8 could've been his last match, but he chose to keep going. His short run in 2005 could've been his sendoff, but he chose to keep going. He chose to spend his last few years in TNA; and he helped turn TNA into "LOLTNA" (maybe if not for him, the idea of him having his last match there wouldn't seem so disturbing or "not right" or whatever). He made his bed.

He can't hit the leg drop. I doubt he can lift his leg for the boot. Atomic drop is out. Any and all suplexes are out. Definitely can't slam anyone unless he just holds his arms in place and his opponent jumps and flips himself.
A Hogan match at this point would involve him standing in the ring, maybe throwing and "taking" some punches, but if he fell down, that would be big trouble. I can't see this happening under any circumstances. Unless it's just a finger poke of doom... but how could he even pin the guy?

They should just have Big Show dress up as Hogan again instead. This has been proven to work.

Guess it's time for Hogan to finally get that win back against Brock.

I think Bruno Sammartino would be cleared to wrestle before Hogan would. That is totally the case. Bruno is still in amazing shape for 78 years old, he looks 50 at best. I'll go as far as saying that Bruno looks younger than Undertaker. I'm surprised they never invited him to an angle. Mae Young was 86 when she had that last match. I'm sure Bruno could do better. And Hogan can wrestle... if they cleared Bret Hart, they'll clear anyone, the things is, does Hogan want to do that kind of match?

Hogan isn't in wrestling for the love of it these days, he's in wrestling because his finances are ****ed because of his divorce and all the money he wasted on his daughter's failed music career.
