It's actually less than either. He doesn't say anything other than there's been no news.

If it's 6.66 can we please get some ads with Kane, Undertaker and Jake Roberts?

I'm still nervous about the ppv situation. The ONLY way I can see it working without Sky's involvement AND have the PPVs live (rather than delayed) is if Sky are able to market and keep ALL proceeds from PPV revenue through the traditional means. So WWE sells the PPVs as part of a network subscription package but for anyone who just wants to see TLC and doesn't want to fork out for the Network on a regular basis then they pay Sky.
This could only work if the only subscription option was a binding commitment. Being able to join for just a month and then go wouldn't work as nobody would subscribe via SBO. But if you HAD to pay £39.99 for 6 months then maybe the occasional PPV in a blue moon for £14.95 as a one off might still appeal.
This arrangement would be in line with Vince telling Shareholders that WWE wasn't expecting any PPV income from overseas going forward with the Network being rolled out.

Would agree with all of the above. I'm just wondering what is going to be on the rest of the time re current content? Sky Sports has announced they are getting Main Event in 2015. They already have NXT and Superstars, and I've even seen Slam City on the TV guide on Sky Sports. Of course, contracts and agreements could change in the months after it being signed, but it could be a situation similar to Canada where Main Event will be replacing NXT on Sky and NXT is moved to the WWE Network exclusively. WWE/Triple H seem to like the Network being the home of NXT.

The AskWWENetwork Twitter replied to someone today to say that PPVs will be on the Network but they are unclear what platforms the Network will be carried on. I imagine it must be awful working for the Network's social media team and information not really being passed down.
Hulk Hogan is apparently going to be on Raw tonight. I wonder if he will have any UK news?

It MUST be a contractual thing with Sky in terms of when something can/cannot be promoted. Maybe fear is if they launch it then people will jump gun, sign up early and try to sign up to the US version

I just remembered him hyping it when he came over for the UK tour. But he will probably be on Raw to talk about the Komen charity or the WrestleMania travel packages.

The 'How to Watch' page of WWE.com has been updated for Hell in a Cell and the UK version ONLY lists Sky Box Office. Others, such as Australia, has the Network listed.

The UK Network is going to be dross. I suspect they don't want to promote it because of all the bad reviews it will no doubt get.

The handling of the network launch in the UK has been absolutely pathetic. Zero communication and it appears even less planning. What on earth has been going on?

www.wwe.com/wwenetwork/coming-to-uk-26691036According to this they are still in talks with potential partners so either Sky isn't happy with something or you're getting Canada'd and Nov. 1 is not the launch but the day they will announce the launch.

I hope that "potential partners" refers to platforms that will carry it (PlayStation, Xbox etc) and not big, bad Sky.
But one day to launch and they announce a delay just shows a total disregard for their audience. If this was any other company I'd say heads would roll on the incompetence but its WWE, I'm not surprised.

How on Earth do you sign a new deal knowing full well that you are going to bring a new service around the world and NOT have this stuff ironed out then? WWE signed the deal the week AFTER the Network got announced and they're still talking to Sky about it NOW?!
It's a farce for sure.

They have come out and said several times through their official forums and said they aren't involved in the Network, and they have no plans to add a WWE specific channel to their lineup. Maybe the interest the Network is getting on Twitter etc is making them change their mind though?

What an absolute farce and really shitty for the UK. 'Talking to potential partners' I'd assume means sky have dug their heels in regarding their right to show the PPVS exclusively and judging by their near non existent promotion of anything else on the network WWE believes that is the only selling point and are now looking for it to be premium channel along the lines of the Canadian version.
We got PPV's for free for ten years and have been paying for it ever since, figuratively and literally.
For a huge mult-million dollar company they really are ran no better than the likes of TNA at times. Pathetic.
