Oh yeah, SD is total filler these days. TNA is by far the better show. If anything, why would Vince move the marginal SD show to a night with another wrestling show? If anything it might hurt SD's numbers as much as it would hurt TNA's. I am being serious here. Are you serious? TNA has been a sinking ship the last few months, Smackdown on the other hand has been in some instances better than RAW and has been good the last few months. TNA lost their stride after Lockdown it has been downhill form there, it has become one week nothing but filler promos than the following week matches that are 5 minutes in length followed by 20 minutes promos, I honestly have been worried about TNA for the last few months and until we get the full story this is all speculation

I swear, you guys better not get me started on them backing out of the huge push the Lusitania was supposed to get. Stupid unrestricted politicking... Its those same politics that depushed and pretty much sank the RMS Queen Elizabeths career after that stunt they pulled in that Hong Kong tour. They said it was because of "mysterious circumstances" but we know what really went on. It's nothing compared to how the company blatantly buried the Maine despite being over huge with live audiences, just to garner cheap heat for Spain.

Is this the weekly "moral backstage is low" TNA topic?

Tommy Dreamers Twitter pants are where it's at in 2014.

Is this the weekly "moral backstage is low" TNA topic? Give it a few months, and it'll just become the Weekly, Dixie Carter is walking around an empty arena talking to herself thread.

I posted this in another thread but I think it's worth repeating here this may be the final blow if it does happen to TNA, assuming they and Spike come to an agreement

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
So if Meltz is to be believed, TNA taped on the 5th, then on Wednesday the 6th (the day the Smackdown picture leaked, and "the news" started to get picked up) it was chaos and confusion and panic and cats and dogs falling from the sky ; then on the 7th there was a meeting which left people in an upbeat mood. Funny how that report doesnt compute at all, timeline-wise, with pwinsider's August 7th report, which pretty much kills Meltz narrative/chronology of events :

Stupid unrestricted politicking... yeah that push got torpedoed quick. as for TNA on fridays it might have worked given how smackdown is pretty much 1 hour of "here's what happened on RAW" and one hour of actual new stuff these days. would give wrestling fans something else to watch while we all learn how to download the WWE app so we can order the WWE network for only 9.99

If TNA went to Fridays, WWE would start giving a shit about Smackdown just to put the final nail in the coffin.

You mean Bobby Lashley as champion didn't give them the bump in ratings they needed? Preposterous.

"2 weeks from this Friday you won't want to miss HBK coming out of retirement to take on Seth Rollins in a 1 hour Iron Man match. CM Punk will also be returning for one night only to take on Stone Cold Steve Austin!" Dixie: "...We've got Gunner"

I heard the Bully Ray podcast with JR, it was funny how subconsciously he threw tna under the bus, first he introduced him as Bubba Ray Dudley, which he didn't even disputed, then they spend most of the time talking about ECW and how awesome were the tlc matches, then he asked him if tna had been operating in a deficit for years, he simply just said that the internet took everything out of proportion. Another highlight was him agreeing that there are some segments that are WWE lite clones.
Ok, now Davey is gone for at least the rest of the year, hurting a little bit the x division, and f***ing up the tag division, Bromans are the only ones left, creative wouldn't be as stupid to put the tag titles on the menagerie...
I'm betting that once the upper echelon leaves, the panic is gonna turn into a mutiny.
I can't see the rumor of Spike TV buying impact as true, with all the talent that is gonna remain, I would be ashamed of owning that.

Person off screen (revealed to be Sam Shaw): "Oh." Dixie: "I tried to get him, but he won't make the music I want."

If WWE were to start caring about SD just to spite TNA they would've moved it back to Thursdays a long time ago.

You mean Bobby Lashley as champion didn't give them the bump in ratings they needed? Preposterous. Actually, ratings have jumped with him as champ. Granted that was from EY's lows to back to normal but it was a much needed bump.
