So this contains spoilers (without the actual result), but this sounds awesome. From Gerweck's review of the tapings, this should be good! {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}BroMans and The Beautiful People vs Knux, Crazzy Steve, The Freak, and Rebel. This match was simply tolerable until the worst blown spot I’ve seen since Jackie Gayda’s WWE debut years ago. Velvet and Rebel ran at each other. They then come to a screeching halt. They’re a few feet away from each other and for 10 seconds, time stood still. It’s as if they were in wrestling school practicing a match and wondered “what do I do next?” Poor Rebel practically walks up to Velvet and calmly gives her a body slam. I don’t blame Rebel for this because she’s green, but Velvet as the 10-year veteran (seriously…) should have thought on her feet and did SOMETHING. You’re the heel. Slap her. Punch her. Kick to the gut. Whatever. No, let me stand here until the rookie with limited experience walks up to me and picks me up for a body slam. Appalling. Anyway, to make matters worse for poor Rebel, Velvet rolled her up for the pin while holding the tights, essentially mooning my side of the ballroom. If these two had a strong drink after this match, I can’t blame them.

It's insane that Velvet has been wrestling for TEN YEARS.

It's insane that Velvet has been "wrestling" for TEN YEARS. Fixed. But yeah, 10 years. That's f***ing mind boggling.

Honestly I'd nominate Velvet at this point for the least improved wrestler in the history of the business.

I know this thread is supposed to be about how bad Velvet is but tbh, Rebel shouldn't have even been there. This is someone who just had her first exhibition match two weeks prior and now here she is injuring herself on TV already. It's like Dixie saw Eva Marie and said "I want that!"

Not to sound sexist but I shout that for most Divas and Knockout matches. Also during most of the ads. I tend to yell at my TV alot

I can't wait to see how they attempt to edit this.
The easiest thing to do, since the match means jack, is edit it off the show and add in a clip of cops or something.

I've not watched TNA since late February and I can honestly say that this is the first thing about TNA I want to see. Even then, I won't watch the show. I'll just watch the match later on youtube or some other means.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}There's an easy explanation for this. They had already seen TNA rely on ECW and make it the main focus, they had seen Dixie go through a table and get injured in the process, and there was the comment from MVP about the NYPD choking people. They had seen all that and it was in the middle of this match, that both at the same time thought "This f***ing company." It all hit at once for both of them, it just happened to be in the middle of a match.

So chances are we may get to see this in all its glory. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Tenay and Don West reading scripts while they call a brawl between Abyss and Sting in the back, with the camera cutting back to them, zoomed in, in what could only logically be active sabotage or disdain for their audience, because it'd have been harder NOT to edit it out, almost.

about them editing this out...
this didn't just make it to air in the u.s. but the uk air as well, which was broadcast days after the u.s. version went out on the air so I don't hold my breath on further botches being edited out

Editing something like this is NOT difficult, and even if it were done sloppily, with just a black frame or something, that would still be much less embarrassing.

I get the feeling the pause will be a lot more disappointing, like a second long stare down of confusion before the slam.
Certainly hoping for it to live up the hype, though.

Thank you.

I hope the video editors have fun with it and loop the pause a couple times making it like 30 seconds long. Maybe edit in some "THIS IS AWESOME" chants and a couple stock shots of the crowd going apeshit. Try to morph the finishing body-slam into Hogan/Andre.
