...as an on air performer. The work she's done for the past year and half is IMO better than any run Vince has done in the past (even the Austin rivalry). There is such subtly and nuance to her heel work in comparison. And a complete self awareness that allows her to manipulate the crowd effortlessly.
Agree?

I'm between choice 2 and choice 3. No, she's not there yet. I don't think she's close, but who knows. Maybe she'll surprise me.

I love how she tries to act supportive of anyone in her feuds. Vince was hilarious as an over the top character, and Stephanie is, too.

I love Stephanie, but I won't go that far. I've always thought she was very entertaining though.

Vince's transition from energetic announcer climaxing every time HBK started taking off his assless chaps to over-the-top cartoony evil boss taking a pisspan shot to the head in a hospital bed will never be topped by Steph.

Give me this, and maybe she'll be on Vince's level.
Stephanie: IT WAS ME BRIE, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG BRIE! Cole: OH MY! And you can see more if you subscribe to the WWE Network only for $9.99. JBL: I love it, Maggle!

Steph can certainly more than hold her own but let's not go saying things that just aren't true.

See, you say that now.
Just remember that when this has become The Bellas feuding with each other while Stephanie McMahon goes to harass the male talent again and conveniently escapes this entire feud with zero comeuppance.

Stephanie is a godsend to professional wrestling and I love this woman.
I can think of 20 Vince segments off the top of my head that are better than her best.
Not meant to put her down either. Vince at his most insane, over the top best is nearly untouchable.

She's been great. But Vince was as much of a part in the success of the Austin era as Steve himself was.

I honestly regard Stephanie as the best mic worker in the WWE today. That's a huge compliment, but to pit her against Attitude Era Vince is completely unfair. He set the gold standard for heel authority figures that nobody can surpass, not even Stephanie McMahon. Maybe in 20 years as a bitchy Marge Schott type character? Perhaps. She's certainly learning a lot from her dad though.

I think Stephanie is a fantastic on screen performer, I've been a fan of hers since the original McMahon Helmsley era. As she gets older she's only getting better and showing more of her fathers traits.
But as far as her surpassing Vince...No way.
Vince is on another level that I doubt any of us will ever see reached again, nevermind surpassed.

Vince's theme song would be appropriate to post to answer this question.
