Probably the most undeserved Arsenal win in recent memory... but the points are all that matter.

Switching shirts at the half is stupid and I think it makes a player look small-time.
That said, would anybody be talking about this if it were in reference to Jordan Henderson or Adam Lallana?
Why always Mario, indeed?

Mario Balotelli has been embarrassing so far at Liverpool. I can't see him being there long at this rate.

Mario Balotelli has been embarrassing so far at Liverpool. I can't see him being there long at this rate. Yeah he doesn't deal with pressure well. He did great when he first got to AC Milan when they were mid table, but last year when he was expected to help carry the team he got an attitude problem. The team has been much better without him because of his attitude.

Balotelli gives Liverpool nothing. They bought him because no one else was available. He just doesn't fit into their preferred style of play, and it's made worse when you consider that their defence is utterly spineless. They look scared and nervous.

Couldn't watch the Liverpool game last night due to having late classes but glad I missed it. As for Balotelli, I don't rate him. It's all good and well saying he needs time to get used to that style of play but if he were actually trying, I'd have more patience with him. Tired of us breaking at speed and him slowing the play down to a crawl. That's fine if he actually does something, a decent shot on target, a decent ball forward or such but he doesn't even do that.

I wonder how many Liverpool fans are thinking "If only Loic Remy hadn't failed his medical..."

Harry Kane scored a hat trick for Tottenham tonight. Can't hear this guys name without hearing JR's voice commentating on him.

It was 10 years ago today that United put the Invincibles to sleep after their 49-match run.
I remember the game fondly. I was in undergrad and I skipped out on a Japanese history lesson to go watch it at a nearby pub.

Still I won £20 that day for having Van Nistelrooy as first goalscorer thanks to a bet I had with my Uni mates. So wasn't all bad. And we still have the record so that's something.

That's the most I've ever been annoyed at a match that didn't contain my team. Hugely frustrating, especially given the context of it being the potential 50th game etc. To be cheated out of that by some rather questionable officiating (at Old Trafford? Never!) was deflating. I can't imagine what it was like to be an Arsenal fan that day.

I was much more devastated when we lost to Barcelona in the Champs Lge final in 06 or the F.A. Cup final to Liverpool in 2001. Again both games where we let down by the officials.

Speaking of Liverpool and being let down by officials, there was also the 2008 Champions League quarter-final when Liverpool got a dodgy penalty moments after Arsenal had scored what should have been the deciding goal.

And the MLS season has come to an end, and with that, so is the end of the Chivas USA club. www.si.com/soccer/planet-futbol/2014/10/27/chivas-usa-contraction-folds-mls-los-angeles-realignmentwww.espnfc.us/blog/espn-fc-united-blog/68/post/2113164/major-league-soccer-saying-goodbye-to-chivas-usa-as-a-mls-club-graham-parkerI mean, I will not lie and say that I don't find joy in the demise of the American Goats, but it is also frustrating that this will be forever an example as how not to bring in another culture into a sport that depends on its own nationality to succeed, plus for a time, there was a lot of support on their side as the antithesis to the star-studded focus of the LA Galaxy, but like in the major sports, their success was underminded by a small-minded & ignorant owner. So for the surviving fans of the former Chivas USA club, if you do view Jorge Vergara as el asesino de futbol, you do have a valid complaint. And, I also feel your sympathy. It may be hard, but I hope that the Los Angeles Aztecs (whom I hoping they will be called) will succeed where Chivas USA failed so miserably in the Los Angeles market. In happier news (though I still find the timing to be rough), the Eleven did beat Ottawa 2-1 last Sunday, although that might've been a game that the Fury should have won if only for local pride considering what had happened at the Parliament Hill. The Eleven close out their season, having succeeded in all my goals (a few home victories and not finishing in last place in the combined standings) at Tampa Bay on Saturday.

So is this officially the end of the 'Pardew Out' campaign?
Meanwhile in Germany, Dortmund is now in the relegation play-off spot and has the most losses in the league. I like the team but, as an Arsenal fan, am hoping their league form transfers over to the Champions League
