Poor Ashley Young. United lose at home and a bird shits in his mouth.

Looks more like spit (which is still pretty gross) but I want to believe very much that it's bird shit.

Arsenal looks rather bright this year. As a Gunners fan that is great news. Arsenal has always had bad league starts then climb to the top before Christmas only to fall slightly before the season is over. With Alexis and more importantly Chambers who I think was an amazing signing, I think Arsenal might just make it this year. Fingers crossed for no long term injuries.

I'm pleased that we beat Palace in the end but i am concerned at the way we conceded that goal today. If we defend like that against the other top 4 teams we will get hammered by them again this season. That being said, Koscielny is a legend in the making and Chambers is going to be one hell of a player and the main future England centre back. Mertesacker coming back into the squad will be vital. Sanogo wont start the next game and Ramsey is going to be the best player in the league this season.
Also, Utd losing at home to Swansea, who I thought would get thrashed, was hilarious.
Brighton lost again. Hyypia out!

For the second year in a row, James Corden makes a great save in the last two minutes of the opener to give Liverpool the win. We always play crap in our opening game of the season, don't know why.

Damn, that silence for the two Newcastle fans who died in the Malaysian air crash brought tears to my eyes.

The more things change, the more things stay the same. The Newcastle defense on that Silva goal was complete garbage.

Well, you can't say we haven't replaced Suarez, talented striker who's a nutter.

Looks like Liverpool are signing Balotelli, reportedly for 16M Good signing considering they're selling Borini for the same amount & he's getting to that age now where he might actually grow up. Shows how screwed AC Milan are though (they're broke) Another jam packed weekend of football ahead, wonder what the shock of the weekend will be, there always seems to be at least one big one that no one seems coming Had me a cheeky little bet for tomorrow so fingers crossed

This Malky Mackay situation is interesting.
LMA have handled it comically.

As much as he is an unpredictable player I was kind of disappointed Arsenal didn't sign Balotelli, he is the kind of world class striker we really need to challenge. Giroud is good no doubt but he's no Aguero or Van Persie or even Costa or Sturridge. And I really hope Wenger not bringing Fabregas back won't come back and haunt us and he was immense at Burnley on Monday.

Three way tie for first in the MLS Western Conference. The last ten matches are going to be really fun, as all 9 teams could qualify for the 5 playoff spots. Realistically, 7 of them will fight for those spots until the end. Chivas is a mess. And San Jose won't be able to keep up.
