I bet they'll make sure to put on a hot LIVE show to get people interested in the move.
Oh, wait...

Which means I'm probably never watching Impact again. Not as long as WWE keeps putting the best of Raw on Wednesday nights on the WWE Network, and for only 9.99 what a deal!

bye-bye 1.1 for now.
Moving days always result in a ratings dip.
Also - I guess they were tired of competing with NXT.

So we have:
Mondays - Raw Tuesdays - Main Event Wednesdays - Impact Thursday - NXT/Smackdown (if it moves) Friday - Smackdown (if it doesn't move) Saturday - ROH (If your local market carries it) Sunday - PPV/Total Divas/ROH

Hmmm....moving to Wednesday, possibly off "free" tv, they're a $9.99 away from coming full circle

Impact is such a good show they keep having to move it round the schedules to give the other shows a chance.

But shows that aren't being renewed get their time moved all the time.

Nah, this seems more like a move to do to set up Impact going forward rather than a "kill the show" type move. If the show had a few more weeks there's no point in changing time slots. Shows are sent to a new slot for 1-2 seasons before they bite the bullet. Witness for instance the CSI shows. Miami was sent to the death slot on Sunday nights at 10 and the NFL constantly wreaked havoc with the ratings and it was finally canceled. Regular CSI is being sent to that death slot this year. If TNA just had a few weeks to live Spike would air the shows as is and then just find a new Thursday show.

This happening as abruptly as is did makes me think this is Spike doing them a favor should they find a new home. TNA knows they'll have to move nights should someone pick them up (no network will put them against WWE and the NFL and I doubt TNA wants that either) so they probably asked SPIKE if they could move and it was granted. I know it sounds weird, especially with how they treated ECW and WWE, but TNA has been the good little soldier for them so this is just them throwing TNA a bone.
