I can't imagine the Raw after WrestleMania being taped before WrestleMania... Of everything TNA copies from WWE you'd think they'd at least f***ing realize that it was a bad idea to tape things in this order.
I had assumed the tapings to be shown after BFG would be the non-canon or non-storyline ones with them inserting extra promos/backstage stuff to tie them into the continuity but Nooooooo these morons are doing in-ring title changes. I had thought that whoever organized this schedule was an ignorant dumb-ass but apparently I gave them too much credit.

Reports I'm reading are that due to how they've booked title matches in the recent tapings in Bethlehem, there will be no title matches at BFG, which is now just three weeks away. Incredible how piss poor a job they've done with this. Wow. BFG, which you call your WM, having no title matches. Well done. Don't worry, Wrestle-1 will have their newly crowned champion on the card since they pretty much are sponsoring and booking the show.

@jimmysuzuki1 is a good twitter to follow if you want to find things out about the card.
It is looking like this is their show and this is just a ONO PPV taped in Japan. Honestly don't think BFG is going to have anything to do with storylines or current TNA other than what was built using Sanada, and that was at Wrestle-1's bequest.

Two matches have been announced
Muta & Tajiri vs Sanada & Storm
Low Ki vs Samoa Joe vs Kaz Hayashi for the X Division title
Whatever, it's not like anything is going to happen unless Muta takes the fall for his protoge like he originally wanted to until TNA had Sanada drop the title to Aries before Muta could put him over in a title defense.

That is why I was wondering who was defending.

On the bright side, if nothing else those two matches seem like they'd be really interesting.
I'm a huge NJPW fan but I'm willing to admit that, ran right, a combination of Zero-1/TNA would have the potential to take a chunk out of their market share.
Having Muta, Tajiri, Kanemoto & Hayashi alongside guys like Aaron Aguilera, Renee Dupree, Minoru Tanaka and Daisuke Sekimoto intermingle with the TNA roster and having somewhat regular shows in Japan would at least put them in the position to leapfrog groups like All-Japan, NOAH and DDT and become the #2 there. Of course there is a bit of a big chasm between NJPW and everyone else now.
Meh, I just want to see more Joe vs Muta and Tajiri vs Low-Ki.

And it doesn't mean much to leapfrog two promotions that are dying and a comedy promotion that doesn't even want to be number 2.

Of course, I meant Wrestle-1 (with the hyphen, if you're gonna correct someone do it properly!) not ZERO1. Although ZERO1/TNA would be interesting as well... we'd get Masato Tanaka and probably still Daisuke Sekimoto. And yeah, I made the point that it wouldn't take much to be #2 at the moment in Japan pretty clear in my post. My point wasn't just that they'd be #2 but that if they did it properly they could actually gain a bit of NJPW's market share. It would involve guys like Joe, Aries, Low-Ki, Roode, Storm and Perkins spending a lot more time in Japan, but if TNA as we know it in the states wasn't an option it would be a possibility.

From TNA's website
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 29, 2014) --- TNA Wrestling, in conjunction with Japanese-based promotion Wrestle-1, will produce and broadcast its biggest event of the year, Bound For Glory, outside of the United States. Emanating from the famed Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, Bound For Glory will be available exclusively on Pay-Per-View (PPV) Sunday, Oct. 12, beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. “Taking Bound For Glory, our company’s tent pole event, outside of the United States for the first time is the culmination of years of strategically introducing and growing the TNA brand and affiliated properties internationally,” said TNA President Dixie Carter. “TNA has cultivated an incredible relationship with Wrestle-1, and we are proud to join forces in bringing wrestling fans what will be a historic and memorable evening of professional wrestling broadcast from one of the most legendary fighting venues in all the world.” At Bound For Glory, arguably the most-recognized Japanese athlete in all of professional sports, The Great Muta, will join forces with “The Japanese Buzzsaw” Tajiri to face Muta’s former student, the “reborn” Great Sanada, who will be teamed with his new mentor and leader of the revolution, James Storm in a much anticipated grudge match. The newest members of the TNA Hall of Fame, Team 3D - Bully Ray and Devon, will be inducted into the exclusive club at Bound For Glory. Bully and Devon will also be in action as Team 3D for the first time faces fellow hardcore legends, The Monster Abyss and Tommy Dreamer. Bound For Glory will feature unique, one-time-only inter-promotional matches between TNA and Wrestle-1 Superstars including: The unstoppable Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe defending his X-Division championship vs the awe-inspiring Low Ki vs former World Jr. Heavyweight Champion Kaz Hayashi The undefeated EC3 vs former sumo wrestler Ryota Hama The charismatic and devious MVP vs the global phenomenon Kazma Sakamoto The masked, unpredictable Manik vs the former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Minoru Tanaka In addition the card for Bound For Glory will include a Knockouts battle between the destructive Havok and 2-time Knockouts Champion and 2015 TNA calendar cover-girl Velvet Sky. “I can confidently say this will be the most intriguing and captivating three hours of professional wrestling action all year,” said John Gaburick, TNA’s executive vice-president, talent relations and creative. “With an incredible card pitting the best professional wrestling athletes against one another in never-before-seen matches, Bound For Glory will once again set the standard for the best wresting in the world.”
Show sounds worse than the usual ONO shows; absolute tosh.
Havok and Velvet Sky? Tommy f***ing Dreamer? EC3 against a fat guy?
Well, they've ruined BFG.

Havok vs Velvet will be horrible . Havok isn't nearly as good at carrying ( or in general really) as Gail is, and won't be able to hide Velvet's flaws.

At least the two main events should be decent to good. However this card looks pretty shocking for the most part. However why would you have ECIII against Japanese Rikishi? And Velvet vs Havok? For this show against an almost entirely Japanese audience, wouldn't you want to have Havok face someone good? I mean, there's very few people on the knockouts roster that are good these days but at least have her kill Rayne or something. Or even better yet, have her against a Japanese wrestler and have her go full Joshi Monster on them.

Well TNA, thanks for announcing this card. Be glad to save money on it. So many shit matches, two of which mean less than nothing given what you have taped. Guess this is Bubba's farewell too, cannot understand that match otherwise.

Match wise, this looks like it could be a good show, unfortunately, story wise, it's unimportant.
