To be fair, Nasty Boys did fairly well in WWE and WCW. If they did well in those promotions, I think it's safe to say they would be fine in ECW, especially since the Nasty Boys were more of a brawling tag team. Also, Heyman has a reputation for knowing how to book talent to the best of their ability.

I can see Joey Styles selling the pit stop better than any of the WWF or WCW announcers did.

Would have been worth it to see New Jack try to kill them for some reason or another It would've been the Mass Transit Incident all over again. That or the Vic Grimes incident.

I think th eNasty Boys would have worked really well in ECW, they wouldn't get along with anyone backstage but they never do so it's a moot point. Dudleys vs Nasty Boys would have been good. They did Nasty Boys vs Dudley Boyz in TNA. In 2010. I think the Nasty boys were well past there prime in 2010, not quite the same.

Nasty Boys would've done just fine in ECW. Instant heat from having worked for The Big Two, and they could work the hardcore style fine. They could even come out to Janet Jackson's "Nasty" since ECW loved using real music so much.

Yep. Just play up how they set out to stiff their opponents for laughs and they're set, they would get over with ECW's bloodthirsty fanbase just fine. I imagine them taking liberties in their first match then getting stiffed in retaliation, then being light as feathers for a while until they come up against two smaller guys like Candido and Storm, then start wailing on them because it's their style as bullies. That would turn the lockerroom against them and get stiffed in matches against bigger guys until they quit a short time later, screaming about an unsafe work environment.

Axl could wrestle, he just didn't show it that often in ECW. Lance Storm has said that Axl was much, much better in the ring than one would expect, just that most of the time he was hitting people with chairs. He also said New Jack CAN wrestle, he just defaults to weapons because that is what people want from him. Didn't he break out a little bit of wrestling when he wrestled Awesome for the title that time?

Remember how people said Sid Vicious wouldn't work in ECW and the ECW faithful were going to tear him to shreds? Not only did he fit in during his short stay but he had the fans totally behind him. The Nasty Boys would fit in ECW with no problems. And their attitude issues wouldn't be a problem either. Tons of ECW wrestlers hated each other in real life and still worked with little to no problems in the ring. As long as money was made and the drugs flowed, everything was a-ok.

It's the only place I'd want to see them.
Not stinking up my WWF viewing.

Yeah 100% I reckon. There where rumours in 1997 that they were ECW bound anyway, I wonder if Heyman ever made an effort to sign them
