In my reflection of Impact wrestling I was thinking of what was the single worst thing they have ever done in the spot thread I mention Bully gingerly laying on a table but that was just a moment. The worst segment was Mr. Anderson talking to an old teacher. It was horrible in every single way. A character who we never saw before and never saw or mentioned again, added nothing to whatever feud Anderson was in at the time (I do not even remember), Had painfully bad dialog about someone they both knew but no one in the audience had any clue who she was, and lasted about 5 times longer than was reasonable. I knew within 15 seconds that Anderson was going to mic check this guy I had no idea why they were wasting time showing it but then to make it last for as long as they did felt like they were trying to punish me for watching the show. This I think is a clear pick for worst segment in impact history as it did not even have anything to do with the show.
If anyone thinks that there was a worst segment I would love to hear about it.

I was gonna say Immortal's promo on the 10/14/10 episode, but that was like 4 segments long...you know what, I'm gonna count it anyway.

The 10-14-10 opening segment of Impact featuring the almost never ending Immortal promo.

Dixie going through a table while the roster treated it like it was the ending of Freaks

I thought the Anderson segment was worse but I am certainly not going to argue the point as even on my personal list the Immortal promo is the second worst. Given how long it was I think that 10/14/10 is the worst ever episode of Impact.

Do you have a specific moment in mind or for you was simply every time he was on screen unbearably bad?

My first though was Bischoff "playing" the guitar (in reality it was a stage hand, they just cut in shots of Eric) for what seemed like 10 minutes to open Impact for some reason.

Knockout Lockbox 2010 beginning with Tara happily giving up the title despite winning her match and culminating in Jeremy Borash berating an uncomfortable Daffney to take off her clothes.

As facepalmworthy as sh#ithappens was, I don't think anything TNA has done or could do again would top that sorry excuse for a wrestling show that was the 10/14 opening short film...sorry..... segment. The only thing worse were the people defending it by saying "it had to be done that way". Really?

Do you have a specific moment in mind or for you was simply every time he was on screen unbearably bad? If I could pick every time Orlando Jordan was on screen, I would, if for no other reason than because he actually thought that being a perverted, Lady Gaga-esque weirdo could somehow be seen as inspirational to other bisexuals. And I don't care what anybody says, Bad Influence did not make the Clair Lynch saga any less unbearable. I wasn't even watching TNA when this happened, but I decided to track down the clips after it won the Gooker award so I could see it for myself... so I guess I only have myself to blame for that. But if I have to pick just one segment, then nothing beats 10/14/10. No storyline in wrestling should ever take over 45 minutes plus additional promos later on in the night to try and explain. And even that wasn't long enough, because the whole thing was still riddled with plot holes even after the episode was over.

I personally love the segment for the same reasons I love Leprechaun 4, but AJ Styles threatening Disco Inferno with a chainsaw, saying he will "saw yaw baudy parts off" if he doesn't get in the ring was literally the least believable segment in Impact history. It's the equivalent of bringing a hand gun to a No DQ match.
But for a segment with no redeemable qualities, I guess Pacman Jones winning the tag titles without wrestling.

When I saw this thread, my first thought was either the Claire Lynch/Bad Influence "baby shower" segment or the bikini contest between Ms. Brooks and EY.

I want to say it was in...2011. There was one segment where Hernandez kept running in to attack AJ Styles only for AJ to immediately send him back out. They did this like five times before AJ was finally beaten down. It really felt like they did multiple takes of the same angle but TNA is so Mickey Mouse they forgot to get rid of the bad takes and just let it all air on TV.

Why anyone ever thought that was a good idea I will never understand. Firing Roxxie like that was a dick move for sure, but I am not sure it made for terrible television.

I'm not saying the lockbox wasn't dogshit, since it totally was, but the Daffney stripping thing doesn't bother me AS much, since she didn't even have to go through with it, since she got jumped by Lacey, anyway. Which begs the question of why even do it, since it still didn't exactly make her happy to get barked at and treated like meat, and to not even have any intention of delivering on it. It was utterly terrible booking all around. The Roxie thing bothers me more because it was just them dicking with someone to do it, and in the end, she's fired, so it isn't even like it was done with her best interests in mind.
