Hulk Hogan talking about "fake belts" is pretty high up there. and you can't tell me Russo didn't write that for him. Technically, that wasn't Impact, but the very shortlived Reaction show. Reaction was such a strange show. Even when they used it for an overrun it felt superfluous. The one thing they should have gone somewhere with was AJ complaining about not being protected. I thought that angle had legs and could have worked if they went with it but it was just never brought up again.

10/14/10. Worst segment ever. Ran overlong, full of pointless gloating and stupid turns, f***ed up their crosspromotion with Jersey Shore...
It bored me to bits. I was so bored I'd opened an MSN messenger window and started sending headwalling emoticons to a friend of mine. After a minute or so of this, I tried to figure out just how many I could fit into the window before the character limit hit. I had over 140 of the headwalling smileys going when I accidentally hit enter. I hadn't even hit the limit.
I dug up the blog I did on that night's episode. I basically had an angry, expletive-punctuated meltdown at almost the entire thing.

How about Puppet the midget killer with a gun one week or next week beating it on a trash can?

How the hell can you pick? Immortals we're totally awesome guys... and lockbox challenge are pretty good choices. How about Puppet the midget killer with a gun one week or next week beating it on a trash can? That wasn't on Impact that was on the weekly pay per views.

Lockbox Challenge, because it was plainly an attempt to sabotage the Knockout's division.

It's tough to beat that Claire Lynch debut segment where she ranted and screamed about being a recovering addict. That segment was so shockingly awful I had to call my brother after it was over just to make sure I saw what I saw.

That one was bad, but "Hey, let's fire Roxxie, for real, on the air and make her cry" was more f***ed up to me. I think that was at Slammiversary, not on Impact(still sucked either way, though). The Lockbox was definitely Impact. I watched it and I haven't bought a TNA PPV since it was a weekly show.

I want to say it was in...2011. There was one segment where Hernandez kept running in to attack AJ Styles only for AJ to immediately send him back out. They did this like five times before AJ was finally beaten down. It really felt like they did multiple takes of the same angle but TNA is so Mickey Mouse they forgot to get rid of the bad takes and just let it all air on TV. We need a better cartoon analogy for crappy wrestling stuff. TNA is so Allen Gregory they forgot to drop the bad takes.

Rob Terry receiving a chair shot to the head, tna knew about concussions at that point, another reason why the company must die. Oooh, good choice. He no-sold it, too, right? There was a lot of ridiculously goofy stuff in like 2006-2007, but I feel like that was almost a different show back then. By 2010, they had a lot more resources so they should have known better than the Lockbox challenge. Not only did he no sell it, but immediately after Orlando Jordan came out and sprayed the stuff all over his chest while Terry stood in the ring. Those two awful things in one segment puts it up there as an all time bad one.

Do you have a specific moment in mind or for you was simply every time he was on screen unbearably bad? If I could pick every time Orlando Jordan was on screen, I would, if for no other reason than because he actually thought that being a perverted, Lady Gaga-esque weirdo could somehow be seen as inspirational to other bisexuals. Goldust did stuff way weirder, but because it was just a gimmick and he was heterosexual, everyone ignores it. Zack Ryder did the squeezing lotion thing. Again, heterosexual, ignored. The fact that Orlando Jordan was openly and visibly bisexual on a wrestling show, no matter how weird his character got afterwards, was absolutely inspirational. I'm trying to think of a time in wrestling that bisexuality has had a more progressive mention or appearance in the history of wrestling, and I'm drawing a blank. Look beyond wrestling, and his debut is STILL one of the most visible portrayals of a bisexual character in the media, Think you'll ever see the bi flag on Orange Is The New Black or Constantine, despite both main characters being canonically bi? There was one on Impact Wrestling when Orlando debuted. There's a reason Bi Community News had him on the cover of their magazine. There's a reason his face was up with other bi celebrities at the first pride festival I went to. Screw this perspective that because his gimmick was relatively unusual, it erases the fact that he was the first openly bi wrestler in any major company.

Whether or not you think her methods are effective, I'd say Gaga pretty much dresses like a weirdo in order to help young people/LGBT folks feel ok about being different (also record sales too, but let's give her the benefit of the doubt on this one). That's strictly a babyface persona. When OJ squirted lotion on himself and then attacked Rob Terry, whatever "be proud" message he was shooting for got drowned out and he became just another Adrian Adonis style effeminate heel.

I said it in a "Cringe Moments" thread recently and I'll say it again: Short man self-pleasuring in trash receptacle. NOT Impact; Me Fail.

So many to choose from....though I did shudder big time at the segment big time when Hogan gave Abyss his HOF ring. Just truely terrible stuff.
And Abyss's theme after....WHAT THE F**K WERE THEY THINKING?!!

The Jarrett's segment with Kurt's kids, I will never understand why Kurt legit didn't killed him, we'll guess he was busy indulging in his "jungle fever" as Brickhouse Brown said.

The Kris Lewie Gut Check match. That would have been bad for a local indy.
