Its funny that many people thought that the allure of watching the NYC shows was to see TNA ripped on by this 'hardcore' wrestling crowd, instead they somehow got every TNA lover into one room. I did mention that the Northeast is a stronghold of TNA's American fanbase while waiting the worst. At a couple of ROH NYC shows, "f*** TNA" was one of the more popular chants. Guess the smarks became marks.

Honestly, if they had put out what had been passing for a TNA show at the time, it would have gotten shit on. That's why they went with the ECW/ROH type wrestling or trotting out names for Nostalgia the entire time there. Anytime they put out anything involving the long term TNA contract guys (meaning going forward not tenure in company) or remotely resembling the show the previous couple of months it got shit on or ignored. Business wise it was a great move on their part to be sure. It does make me wonder if we're heading back to the pre NYC schlock we were getting.

I miss when fans in the impact zone would overhype everything.
This is awesome chants during staredowns.
Holy shit chants after a standard suicide dive.
TNA chants after someone being irish whipped into the ringpost outside the ring.

When Jessicka Havok comes in, I will probably understand it there.

That's really weak praise. What's next? "You can kinda wrestle!"

Just like everything else in TNA, the chant was aimed at past glories. Exactly this. Look at their website: www.impactwrestling.com/knockouts/They pretty much are the Divas at this point, only more homogeneous and objectively less skilled as a collective. Divas-lite if you will. I mean, the majority of them literally ARE ex-Divas.

From my experience at the tapings this chant wouldn't have been so bad if the guys doing it hadn't insisted on doing it at the exact moment that Taryn Terrell had decided to throw some of the weakest and sloppiest looking clothesline I had ever seen. For a little while I thought they were doing it just to be ironic.

Considering they wasted their "THIS IS AWESOME" chants for Bram and Abyss going through thumbtacks. Again. They felt they needed something new to chant. Take away Gail Kim and you have a roster of Knockouts couldn't even hang with the golden age of Knockouts. And some of them were around that time. Yeah let's remember these are TNA fans. They kind of ignore reality already.
