3 hours behind (thanks Pacific Time) but man I love the Springfield Gorge scene.
The first LMFAO scene of the show. More in tune with the kind of humor that they go forward with non-stop in the classic seasons 3 through 8.
The ambulance crash and Homer falling again...CLASSIC!

Gonna say it now.....Today (August 22nd) will lose a LOT of productivity due to people calling in "Sick". Season 4 (I believe the greatest season) begins at 3:30

Thought we had a minor issue.
"And Maggie Makes 3" is coming on Saturday at 7:30 EST. "Deep Breath"(i.e the Premiere of Doctor Who and Peter Capaldi's full episode debut) comes on from 8:00-10:00
Episodes Missed: Bart's Comet, Homie the Clown, Bart vs Australia(NOOOOOO!) and Homer vs Pattie & Selma, and coming back on "A Star is Burns".
So....Fellow Simpsonophiles......Do I skip the premiere I've waited a year for for 2 episodes I like, one I love, and one....I'm ambivalent on.... or Watch The Doctor's return?

I've noticed things in these episodes that I didn't before.
"Krusty Gets Busted" and "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? both have the episode titles said in the episodes.
"Bart Gets Hit By A Car" has the episode number and title listed in the opening credits.
"Old Money" lists what roles the voice actors play in the closing credits.

Went through earlier and set the ol' DVR. Man oh man there are some huge blocks of awesome in the next few days. I mean like 8/9 episode runs that are all A+. I was literally laughing out loud as I remembered some of the jokes I'll be seeing...(hammock district, "The PTA is disbanding!", Homer's huge sub)

It's my weekend today. And, to paraphrase Wierd Al "Now I can watch The Simpsons from my couch all day!"

I know that Seasons 1 and 2 are essentially a different show (with The Simpsons trying to find its footing and seeing what works well, and before their use of parody and pop culture references; also, Seasons 1 and 2 are a lot less funny), but does anyone else feel that the first few episodes of Season 3 could blend in with Season 2 seamlessly? To me, 'Classic Simpsons' doesn't begin until Episode 4 of Season 3 ("Bart the Murderer").

Homer at the Bat is seriously one of the top 3 best episodes ever. I'll fight you if you think otherwise.
