it really sucks that even though they're still gonna show The Simpsons on FXX, it's gonna be the syndicated versions rather than the original versions Are the originals gonna be On Demand? yeah on that FXX app it's supposed to have the original versions streaming

On my way to work I felt so weird that the Simpsons marathon was over. I kept quoting stuff from them all day long.

Is it wrong that I want them to do an episode where Moe becomes a gigolo?

No clue, I've never watched it either. Just seems like a let down marathon though.

Itchy and Scratchy The Movie is my least favorite Simpsons episode. For a while after that, Homer and Krabappel were on my Cartoon Enemies List.

Aren't they supposed to be having a "Mike and Molly" marathon sometime? Never checked that show out, is it any good? The first three seasons are actually pretty alright. After that, they turned Molly into a Melissa McCarthy movie character and Flanderized most of the characters while cranking the laugh track up. In other words, they realized it's a Chuck Lorre show.

Itchy and Scratchy The Movie is my least favorite Simpsons episode. For a while after that, Homer and Krabappel were on my Cartoon Enemies List. As a kid, I felt that, but now that I'm older I look at it from the other angle. Bart is a real shit throughout this entire episode, mainly because he knows he can take advantage of Homer's kindness, and lack of effort in parenting, and it gives him free reign do whatever he wants. Even if it's just him hammering mustard packets into the carpet, singing "Jingle Bells" for no understandable reason. To see Homer actually care about his son's future for once and actually stick to a punishment is probably one of his greatest moments. And yes, you could look at Bart's suffering, and feel for him, but in the end, it's his own fault for misbehaving, and it's actually quite impressive of Homer to actually set a punishment and stick with it.

And in the end, they were right. Bart became Chief Justice and he got to see the movie after all with his old man. It's a rather touching moment and it reminds me of spending time with my pop. Even if the only movie we've seen just the two of us was Godzilla. The 1998 version.

So Adult Swim had a pretty funny bump last night saying that they understand that we've all have been over at FXX recently, but that they'll accept us back with open arms once the network stops becoming the Simpsons network and starts airing "American Pie sequels" again.

If anyone's interested, while the marathon was airing, Matt Selman (who wrote for The Simpsons) and Ben Schwartz (a comedian and improviser, most famous for playing Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Rec) hosted an 8-hour livechat, joined by fans of the show and behind-the-scenes personnel (including Josh Weinstein, Mike Scully, Carolyn Omine, and others). You may check this out right here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlQ18GQo6aI

So these block parties that the simpsons will be airing. What kind of blocks are they? Will they just be a bunch of episodes or an entire season being played? Also they need to do this marathon again sometime down the line.

just from what I gathered from the commercials, they'll be episodes that share something in common. Like I'd swear I saw one of the commercials mention a Duffman block or some such?
