TNA Announced a set of Four Impact Tapings returning to Bethlehem PA. The last one being the same Night as the start of CHIKARA's King of Trios, which is essentially their Wrestlemania.
TNA did the same thing already in 2012, booking a House Show just like 40 Minutes away from the Easton Funplex where King of Trios has been held the past few years, and was being held then. Not only did CHIKARA reportedly out draw them then, but Daniels and Kazarian went to it after the House Show ended.
TNA, Don't F*** with CHIKARA Pro in PA, Especially during King of Trios. They've only announced one team so far and already it has the power to outdraw whatever you bring to the table by then (See my Sig to get what I'm saying)
And if you don't know how amazing CHIKARA King of Trios can be, you need to learn because it's one of the coolest events you'll ever see, coming from someone who's been there live, multiple times.
All I can say at this point is TNA you're incredibly stupid, and anyone who had the opportunity to choose between King of Trios and a TNA Taping, make humanity proud... pick King of Trios!!

Meh, the Spirit Squad is nothing without that Nicky guy.
He can't be doing too much these days, so his appearance fee should be dirt cheap.

According to reports Nicky oversold his injuries, he wanted to show off. Mitch was always accident prone so it was no surprise when he too fell victim. A very sad day indeed.
As for the other three, considering the Environment CHIKARA has, the Spirit Squad are going to fit right in there.
Also CHIKARA has this special way of bringing back wrestlers who have been retired for awhile, to wrestle for them. Johnny hasn't wrestled since 2008 apparently. CHIKARA just brings people back, even if you didn't care they were gone.

Chikara is going to win out. They have been on a big roll since returning and King of Trios does big business for them.

I full expect Cottonbelly and Ashley Remington to act as the welcoming committee for TNA.
Like how DX "invaded" WCW, but more polite and welcoming.

Chikara's King of Trios is one of the indy events that should air on the WWE network. I watched the epic King of Trios with the 32 teams, I think in 2009 and that had quite the star power on it looking back. That and PWG's Battle of Los Angeles are things they should air on the WWE network, like, these big indy specials should air then.

I think Nicky used to be a caddy before he died. It's gonna be sad that an indy show is gonna outdraw tna, forget about people choosing chikara because of the low ticket prices compared to tna, but who are they even gonna put on the poster at this time? Gunner? Shaw? I think most casual fans think Ken Anderson retired a long time ago.

There's just something about how Chikara incorporates wrestlers from WWE, ECW (i.e like "Team Extreme" of Scorpio,Dreamer, and Lynn), etc that comes off a lot better than how TNA uses said wrestlers. Maybe it's because they just show for that event and the rest of the year Chikara keeps the focus on its homegrown talent. Is King of Trios gonna be on iPPV or are we gonna have to wait for it to come out on Blu-Ray/DVD?

Things like this are almost primarily why I want TNA to stick around. Their propensity for hijinx is hilarious.

The way these tapings play out 2 episodes would air before Bound For Glory and 2 episodes air afterwards. Either nothing of significance happens at BFG or that will be a clusterf**k.

That and PWG's Battle of Los Angeles are things they should air on the WWE network, like, these big indy specials should air then. They haven't had a 32 team KOT, there was a 28 team one in 2008 though, before they went back to the 16 team formula. As for this, I don't really think either will affect the other that much, the TNA fans will go to the taping & the CHIKARA fans will go to KOT, though I wouldn't be surprised if that KOT show outsells the Impact taping, with how well they usually do during KOT weekend.

Thought some of this was going to be some of those ONO tapings.
They aren't really thinking about taping post BFG episodes a month before BFG airs are they?

King of Trios sounds like a real life King of Fighters, except scripted and without psychotic megalomaniacs and ancient demonic gods secretly behind the whole thing.
Way more fun sounding than a TNA house show at least.
