No I think people look at it to critically because it took place in the real world for most of the film. this being a little annoying. IDK I loved it in my childhood so I still like it now. Clouded eyes perhaps. I love it still. Frank Langella's Skeletor is the first time I ever saw an actor who really got it when it comes to comic book super villains. His "I am a God!" monologue is probably the best one ever put on film. I just never understood some of the made up characters. I liked Blade, and thought he was a good fit, but Saurod was utterly worthless and wasted. Gwildor was a dork...I guess maybe a good stand in for Orko...but still, I dunno, I think I would have rather just seen Orko. Don't get me wrong, Masters isn't the worst movie of all time or anything, far from it! Heck, I'd rank it about any of the Bay Transformer movies, I'd just love to see He-man make a huge comeback one day. I feel kids are missing out on a really fun character and universe (no pun intended). I thought the mid 2000's cartoon did a really good job of introducing that universe again. I would say to do another reboot cartoon, but the Thundercats remake was kind of underwhelming. A movie would be great as long as it was rich with color and not like too sleek like a Transformers or 300/Sin City green screen flick like most sandal and sword movies these days.
