...was awesome! Anyone who says otherwise, I'm gonna punch in dick. I personally think if Nash would have kept this persona for his WWF days, he would have done wonders with Vince's acceptance of over the top characters.

Yeah, if he had that gimmick in WWE he might have had had some real success and become a star. Ah, what could have been.

He was better than Oz, not as good as 1996 heel Diesel.

Oz, Vegas... Did WCW just think this guy was a geographic location?

Funny that Vinnie Vegas was actually closer to Kevin Nash than early Diesel.

I'd like to imagine that he's Joey Numbers' uncle.

He must've won that suit from Bret Hart in a game of poker.

Underrated character, unfairly lumped in with Oz and Master Blaster that came before it. Has there ever been any talk of a Nash documentary?

I dunno....if he'd kept this kind of character in the WWE, would he EVER have been world champ? Or any kind of WWF titleholder? And thus, would the nWo even exist later when he went back to WCW?
Because the huge popularity/importance of both Hall and Nash together later in WCW was thanks to their WWF (championship-laden) runs.

Probably not, because I don't think WCW ever really saw him as a huge star until he became Diesel.

He must've won that suit from Bret Hart in a game of poker. Or Bret Hart and Kevin Nash played strip poker one night. hart lost and it turns out Nash is just a massive thief.

You know, all joking aside, I think something like that would have made a good angle. Like Bret seeking revenge for someone stealing an article of clothing, like a suit or, I don't know, a jacket or something.

If, get this, A f***ING PIRATE steals the jacket. That would totally put the WWF over the top.

That would be a shot right in Bret's groin.

All I can remember about Vinnie Vegas was that he was this jerkoff who kept referring to "My people in Vegas". He was a nobody who dreamed about being somebody, chief rocker at the party [/LL COOL J]
