I noticed that watching Raw. Incidentally the first full length episode I've watched for years. Let's have a look.
Reigns - Can't cut a promo. Dull as dishwater. Can't wrestle. Forced down our throats. Isn't entertaining or likeable in the slightest.
Cena - Great wrestler hampered by bad booking that just makes me want to see him go away or at least go onto a limited schedule.
Sheamus - Lame joke telling fool.
The Usos - Pair of boring douches. Basically the tag team version of Kofi Kingston since they have no personality.
Kofi Kingston - Good wrestler. No personality. Annoying.
Big Show & Mark Henry - Big Show sucks completely, Henry I do actually like.
Los Matadores - Yeah right.
Dolph Ziggler - Basically Kofi Kingston as he has no personality either. He doesn't annoy me like Kofi does, but he's just there. It says something when The Miz is showing more personality and character.
Brie Bella - No thanks, she sucks.
RVD - Boring, lazy has-been. Go away.
Swagger - I do actually like but of course, WWE are predictably misusing him.
AJ - I like her. I like Paige more but AJ is ok.
The face roster is dreadful. It's devoid of personality and likeability.

I agree with you on everyone except the Usos. They do a war dance in their entrance. They pop and lock during their matches. They occasionally do their own version of the only move most people remember their father doing. They are, what I like to call them, The Samoan Swag Team.
On that list, the Usos are easily the most likable.

What about Dean Ambrose? Or did I miss something on RAW? Because I haven't watched in a while, though I have been keeping up somewhat online.

Maybe I've just been unlucky in, the few matches of there's that I've watched (only tune in usually to matches which sound good or, which feature my favourites) they've been dull.

Ziggler & Ambrose are the only 2 faces I root for, Everyone else I see as bland (But some really talented)
Say what you will about Russo at least he had EVERYONE with something to make them stand out

I didn't include him or Bryan because they're not on Raw for now since Ambrose was written out last week. Unless I missed him appearing? He is fantastic though. Great character. He's one who I make sure to catch his matces/semens each week.

I think you forgot one of the hottest faces going today.

The only face I really dislike now is Brie. Everyone else, even Ambrose who I'm still on the fence about as far as him main eventing, has some fire to them.
Her, OTOH...I don't know what the f*** is going on with her but I shouldn't be rooting for her more despicable sister. Even if Nikki does have the better husband.

On top of that they still spend way too much time establishing how cool and badass the heels are then have these blandy babyfaces beat them.
If they flipped the script on the heel/face dynamics with a few very small tweaks it would probably make more sense.

I know you don't mean it like this, but it's funny to imagine Vince bringing this thread to a writer's meeting and saying "How can we win back Ryback on a Pole?! He doesn't like anyone we've got right now!"

But surely there was a 30 year old male in the 80's claiming Hogan was too corny, Savage was a goof, Warrior was embarrassing, Steamboat was too clean cut and boring... I think you reach a certain age where you aren't a good barometer (I'm definitely there). My young cousins for example LOVE the Uso's. When I was there age I loved the Steiner Brothers in WWF and it had nothing to do with their wrestling style which I wouldn't have been recognising, it was more to do with Rick acting like a dog.

I think Cena vs Rock was a good example of how we're not a great indicator of how the rest of the fanbase feels. Most of us are old enough or jaded enough to see through much of Rock's act, but to fans, here he was to bring maturity back to WWE by making "subtle" gay jokes at Cena and excellent ring work by getting gassed 5 minutes in.

Faces get bad booking. It's true. The best faces are the ones who essentially play their heel characters, but in face-form. Ambrose, Bryan, AJ all have this in common. All three have been pretty successful. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Reigns- Forced down our throats. I'm so incredibly tired of this stupid expression. Anyone else?

Reigns- Forced down our throats. I'm so incredibly tired of this stupid expression. Anyone else? Yes. He has one or two Raw segments a week and supposedly he is forced down our throat. I'm not saying he won't be forced by the time Mania comes around but right now he is not too bad.

The "problem", if you want to call it that, is that too many major faces act like heels and try to be edgy instead of outright faces. The only two straight-up top-level faces I can think of are Roman and Cena and, well, we all know how people feel about them

Sheamus when he first turned was awesome going after Henry because he was basically just heel Sheamus facing a heel. Then he became stand up comedian Sheamus.

Reigns- Forced down our throats. I'm so incredibly tired of this stupid expression. Anyone else? It amuses me that during the rise of the SHield most people were calling Ambrose limited and overrated. And praising Reigns. Now Reigns is limited and forced down our throats and Ambrose is the one who deserves the push. This happened, with a lot of people. Now when people have turned on Reigns I am kind of hoping he does get a good push. I hope all three members do. I don't yet see John Cena v 2 in him.

Been in a team hid Reign's flaws since he had better workers doing the wrestling and better talkers doing the talking. Now he's a singles star his mediocrity is exposed. It would honestly help him wonders if they gave him a manager to talk for him. That's his biggest weakness. His lack of wrestling skills can be hid well if booked right (Maybe give him the Ryback push feasting on jobbers and the occasional long match with a worker known for getting good matches out of anyone to get him some experience). Pair him with Regal and let Regal do the talking for him. That will be one weakness of Reigns' solved. Hell it would make me like him since Regal could make me cheer for just about anybody.
