Yes, I'm sorry for the wrestlers that would be left without a job, but they would make the same money working on the indy circuit if not more if they worked Japan. TNA is in such bad shape that someone should put it to sleep. Allegedly the Velocity network wants them, I didn't even knew that it existed, but I can't see many of the spike viewers to follow them. They are losing money to the point that they can't even afford Velvet fn Sky.
The current NYC shows didn't suck, just wait when the new ones are taped from Zimbawe, when it's only Gunner vs Samuel Shaw vs Bram...
Forget about having an alternative; the x division is dead, the tag team scene too, they buried their biggest ppv draw Samoa Joe to the point of no return. At this point the only alternative to the WWE is their own NXT...
The main reason TNA needs to die, and why the company will never turn around, is Dixie Carter, she's a spoiled brat, a money mark that could've sold the company when it was actually worth something, but didn't because she wanted to be on TV. Even with the table angle, which was created to take her out of TV, it was all for nothing when she appeared in the Mike Tenay interview, promising that she would return. Don't blame Vince Russo, Bruce Pritchard, Hulk Hogan, or Eric Bischoff... blame Dixie, she let it happen on her watch, she said yes.

Y'know. I used to say, "Of course not! I just want them to be more entertaning and put on a show I'll enjoy more."
But, its been years now and they've pretty firmly established their brand and its not really for me.
So now I don't really care if TNA lives or dies, there are more than enough ACTUAL alternatives to WWE out there to keep me entertained so that I don't have to car/wait for TNA to get its stuff together.

I don't want them to die I want them to get much better.
Even the most ardent "hater" of TNA will most likely feel that way. It comes from frustration after wasting such great potential.

Hell no. At best they can be (and have been at times) a decent WWE alternative, and at worst they're unintentionally hilarious and they make for some great Impact threads.
I'd like to see Dixie/Panda out of the picture and for them to get new management, so the roster can finally be paid what they've earned, but other than that I hope they stick it out as long as possible.

TNA deserves to die, with the way it's run into the ground. Hopefully the talent can make more $ on the indy scene than they do now (I'm certain they can).

If the TV deal rumored for them is true, they're finished anyway because they're going into a situation with an even lower budget and absolutely no room for growth. And after them failing again and again and again for the past decade, I just want to see them actually pay for all of their stupid mistakes at long last.

I feel really sorry for the roster, but the people who run it are f***ing twits who need to get what they deserve for mismanaging everything.

I just think that, as painful as TNA dying would be initially, it would be for the best in the long run. Fans, wrestlers, and pundits have given this company chance after chance after chance to succeed and put on an entertaining product, and it squandered all of them. Like with WCW, they had the benefits of both a fantastic array of wrestling talent and solid financial backing, and yet despite all the potential this offered them, they mismanaged that potential into oblivion.
Give another company a chance to fill the void that TNA would leave. Let a new alternative rise and get exposure without TNA blocking them. Let the fans and wrestlers find a different home, instead of hoping against hope that TNA finally has an epiphany and gets their s*** together.
And for God's sake, I'm sick of having the number 2 American wrestling promotion be called "TNA." The alternative to WWE shouldn't have a name which makes parents freak out when they say "Mom, Dad, I'm going to go watch TNA."

If I knew that they could turn it around? Of course not.
But The way their product has been deteriorating, with no real hope in sight, I'd rather see it taken out back and shot, giving the talent on the roster a chance to go try their hand elswhere

If it dies, it dies. That's where I'm at. I don't really care. It would stink to see people out of jobs, but that's the only negative.

For the wrestlers, I hope they can find somewhere to ply their trade and find fulfillment. For TNA management, eat a dick. TNA came into existence from the death of WCW. Time for someone else to return the favor. TNA is too damage of a brand for a name change or rebrand.

No, that means I have to shut a board on this forum, and that makes me more disappointed than a Matt Hardy fan.

I wish there was a "yes but no" option.
I don't because of the wrestlers. Like them or not, hate them or not, they deserve to work. They can go to the indies or try out in WWE, but any way you slice it TNA closing results in a ton of jobs in the industry being lost. The boys and girls in the back don't deserve that. Not the ones who aren't involved in management anyway.
However, as a fed they totally deserve to go out of business. That's where I wish they would. Say it's on principle. If you run a company as piss poorly as that place has been run you deserve to lose it. Actions have consequences. TNA doesn't deserve to get bailed out. Dixie Carter damn sure doesn't deserve to be bailed out. For what they've done for years, and the amount of potential money and competition in the industry they've squandered, TNA deserves ECW's fate.

I don't want them to die in that I want the roster to have work, and some guys like Shaw, I worry about how they'll do out there, but the management is so f***ing inept. I voted yes because Dixie's bullshit doesn't deserve to be rewarded, and beyond that, I have high suspicions that when the company falls apart, some huge skeletons are going to come out of that closet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first tv wrestling company where you can see it folding each week, in ECW and WCW's product you thought the company could be turned around, but the state of TNA, each week you saw a main eventer leave, then the house shows attracting 10 people, then changing tna's timeslot without warning, the embarrassing roster they now have, the creative, or lack there off, from Gaburick, even if they linger on, they're just another sub par indy at this point.
