The thing I'll miss most is this board, actually. People take things too seriously on the WWE side of things. The WWE board is and has been since I joined the forum, a trainwreck. The TNA board has a quirky personality all its own, and when it gets too serious it's not really difficult to fix. Put up a goldfish and all of a sudden the board gets the hint that hey ok let's chill out a bit and stop acting like a bunch of sour pusses. That luxury of easy moderation doesn't extend to the other wrestling section (*glares at WWE*), you do ANYTHING to make a joke in there that isn't related to photoshop and so many get bent out of shape. The hints that it's time to change the direction of the attitude is often ignored there. It makes for a lot of extra moderator stress and work that none of the green (and pink) guys want to deal with day in and day out. The TNA section though, through the years with only a few exceptions, has self moderated and been pretty enjoyable. So if indeed the TNA board does need to be shut down I'd like to actually thank the regulars of this section, y'all roll with the damn punches like no one else. Shout out to my fellow Impact thread regulars as well. Impact is seriously my favorite show of the week because of this place.

If TNA isn't improving or learning anything, I'd rather they just stop. As indicative of all the problems TNA has... HOW COME AIN'T NUNNA Y'ALL TELL ME IMPACT WAS ON WEDNESDAY NOW?
You know, man... That's it. I've had enough of this garbage. I'm writing all y'all fools out of my will to swim in my big Scrooge McDuck Vault. If Bobby ROOOOOOOooooo actually dropped a Rhubarb on Impact, I'ma riot all over y'all.

^I won't argue with that one bit. It's weird, the TNA board though solid in its misery about the product, is oddly upbeat about said misery. Must be what being a Cubs fan feels like. Being a Cubs fan is a whole other sort of misery. TNA is like rooting for a team that has never won anything and knowing that they likely won't but could reach a nice little comfort zone. The Cubs are a team that was great at one point, has the money and/or players to be great now, and just fails constantly.

And to be honest, Cubs fans got a commercial that I'd rank as one of the best video game commercials ever: Maybe TNA should get on that and make an equivalent for when they make a profit. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}....but alas, TNA making a profit would also only occur in the TNA game.

For all the anguish and disappointment TNA has caused over the years, of course I don't want it to die; it's a place that employs pro wrestlers, people in a profession that's unbelievably difficult to earn a full-time living in, and gets some of them (though historically not nearly enough of them) solid money and international TV exposure.
If this were another era and the pro wrestling landscape had a lot more viable options for wrestlers to go to, I'd feel more comfortable about them dying, but right now this ain't good for the industry.

I don't want them to die. However, I would not shed any tears over them dropping dead.

No, I want them to get better and stay on TV. I'm afraid it's too late, though. Spike has been propping them up.

Yes and no. I would like their talent roster to find work elsewhere, but I would love for the Carter family to lose their awful promotion.

^I'd like TNA out of the Carters' hands, but I want it to still exist in some substantial way (and no, not as "LOLWWENETWORK LOLZ"). I want someone to buy the thing, and honestly, I think the buyer should just suck it up if the terms involve keeping Dixie as an onscreen character. She actually was a great heel boss, and I think she has a lot to offer as long as she's kept away from the business side of things.

Hell naw a potential buyer should suck it up and keep Dixie when they don't want to. If Dixie wants to be on tv, tell Bob and Janice to find a reality show for her to be on. If that Christly dude can get a show, I'm sure Dixie can.

Yes, I want TNA around because it is more wrestling and a place for people to work...but as long as the Carters are involved that will always be questionable at best. We talk about TNA giving people another option to make a living but ignore how many are fleeing and not just the high dollar guys. On top of that, if the TV rumors are true and they move to Velocity or another low profile network, they will have even less money which means even fewer people with paying jobs. So yeah, I want TNA around, but I am not sure I want it around if it will stay with Dixie, Serg, Bob, Janet and rest of the management team that has led to this point. Maybe, wrestling would be better off if TNA was dead so someone else can see what not to do and try again. I don't know.

Isn't that how Dixie started out in TNA? Wasn't she just a PR rep or something before Bob and Janice invested in the company? Sure give her a position behind the scenes, but they could either give her some kind of fancy paper title that doesn't really mean jack shit, or give her a position where she has to answer to other people

They're never coming back to the highest points they've achieved. They might be a decent quality indy once they lose Spike, but that's it.

Dixie shouldn't even be allowed to buy a ticket, Bob definitely regrets not selling the company to Toby Keith... Another reason why tna needs to die, just read that Velocity is only available to 50 million viewers, they're definitely not gonna give tna the same budget that spike gave them. Even if Velocity picks the show, I fear for the quality of the product and the roster, I don't think they could even afford Freight Train.. It's gonna be embarassing to watch Bound for Glory 2015, the conclusion of the Team Challenge Series between Abyss and Cowboy James Storm...

"I don't think they could even afford Freight Train" sounds pretty hyperbolic and exaggerated Yes, Velocity isn't going to give TNA the same budget that Spike gave them. But if they drop all attempts to compete with WWE (meaning no more Impact Zone, no more fancy minitrons, etc.) and just focus on being the best TNA they can be (they should basically just be a "corporate backed indy"), then those limited resources could be repurposed towards signing a few quality indy names and some unknowns who can step up.
