Maybe they could change their model, and have a season/off-season deal. During their season, work a pretty heavy WWE-like schedule, , do it from May to December, building to a climax in October with the BFG series and ending with the Final Resolution PPV n December. The goal would be to have a cliffhanger ending the season and keep things popping online with promos and leaked "newz" so when they come back in May, there's all this shit ready to go down. It could be a great way to differentiate itself from WWE for fans and for the talent, who would have 4-5 months off to take indy/intenatonal bookings, spend time with family, heal up, etc.
Losing their TV deal at Spike could be a good thing, as it lets them sit back and reconsider how to run the company without fretting about filling TV time for Spike with their tiny roster and poorly attended shows.

For all the anguish and disappointment TNA has caused over the years, of course I don't want it to die; it's a place that employs pro wrestlers, people in a profession that's unbelievably difficult to earn a full-time living in, and gets some of them (though historically not nearly enough of them) solid money and international TV exposure. If this were another era and the pro wrestling landscape had a lot more viable options for wrestlers to go to, I'd feel more comfortable about them dying, but right now this ain't good for the industry. I do agree with the point about their employment. Not everyone can go to WWE or Japan. And those that go to WWE aren't guaranteed to get a decent run.

It's hardly a perfect product but it has been improving, overall I enjoy the show and hope it can stick-around somewhere.

At this point I wish TNA would commit suicide by booking the most tasteless angle ever, like Crazzy Steve water bombing Gunner...
On a serious note, I have a question for the mods, even if tna ends up going to velocity, and ends up becoming another indy, would the whole tna thread be moved to the Wrest of Wrestling? My other question, if I'm sorry when tna ultimately folds what happens to the whole thread?

No way. TNA brought me back to wrestling when the WWE killed my love for the product.

TNA is what happens when marks run a promotion. Forcing Double J out the way they did and letting Bischoff and Hogan destroy it to the point that Bubba Ray Dudley has to step up to be your main guy.
Dixie is a spoiled rich mark who Double J wisely used to get his promotion off of the ground. The only problem is she didn't stay a silent investor. I think everything, at least since Hogan, that went wrong in TNA went wrong because of Dixie.
That company had so much potential and now I hope its velocity deal works out, but I really hope GFW or ROH is able to take advantage and gain a better tv deal. It would be great to have 4 options of wrestling programs to watch without having to do too much work finding them.

I really don't like TNA nowadays, but no, I don't want them to die. I want them to get a major re-arrangement, mainly in the booking and managerial departments. Try to get them back to where they were before.

Paul Heyman pretty much took ownership away from the original owner in ecw. Isn't there a way we could do that with Dixie?
If someone else took the steering wheel, the Velocity time slot could still work out.

It doesn't matter. TNA is in that weird place where if they continue on it won't matter and if they die it won't matter. They're completely inconsequential to all but a small minority.

I'm a wrestling fan too, but at this point the wrestlers employed would be making more money on the indies, besides every single day tna loses more and more money, I don't think they're ever gonna recover and pay the guys the money they are worth. I don't mind losing a program that's been awful for the past 4 years, I don't want to see DJ Z vs Gunner on the main event, would you?
TNA has rabies now, the velocity slot isn't gonna help them, how much of their audience is gonna follow them?
Even if by some miracle spike resigns them, the money woes are so bad that they're gonna end up folding anyway.

Even this whole thing of watching a PPV every day I've been doing I'm looking at as more of a job I need to get through than something I'm doing for enjoyment and I've not been doing that for two weeks yet.

Really conflicted on this one.
On one hand, TNA's death would mean the end of exposure for several of these guys who do deserve the exposure (guys like EC3, Spud, Roode, EY, Kenny King, Austin Aries, James Storm, The Wolves, etc.)
On the other hand, TNA (aka Impact Wrestling) in my mind is beyond the point to where it will ever be able to be a fully viable place. The name itself is considered a joke among guys. It is kind of like a rabid Old Yeller right now.
So yeah, I'm gonna abstain from answering this one.

Could repurpose it into a board entirely about Matt Hardy. Nah, it should be about Cops... or Bar Rescue Ink Master I'd be down for.
