I'm about halfway through and it's on the dull side. 2 off screen kills at the beginning and no others at the 45 minute mark so far. The tone is completely serious and Swoggle has only been seen in glimpses.

Seems kooky to me that they'd make a non-humorous Leprechaun movie. Is Hornswaggle not delivering one liners?

"**** you Lucky Charms" may be a new contender.

So what is the general idea behind it? Is it an origin story?

So what is the general idea behind it? Is it an origin story? Well, the title is Leprechaun Origins so probably. "**** you Lucky Charms" may be a new contender. Is that line in the movie? Because that's from the original.

Is it? I haven't seen that one in a while. It probably worked better in that one.

Who else saw the leprechaun? Judging by this thread, not many.

So what is the general idea behind it? Is it an origin story? Pretty bare bones. 4 friends are traveling in Ireland and decide to go with some totally trustworthy locals to a cabin. Suddenly they find themselves locked inside the cabin and strange things are going bump in the night. Origin? Nah, that probably would've been nice to have. You learn next to nothing about ol' Horny except {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}The locals feed out of towners to him to keep him happy. Also something about rocks and a book (I have a headache but not from the movie). So the Irish sacrifice unwary tourists to evil leprechauns? I knew it! *edit*Does he at least look like a leprechaun?

I've been waiting months for this movie, yet I forgot it came out yesterday. WWE should've plugged this more and the Network a little less. As a big fan of the original series I'll still watch this ASAP, but the above Hornswoggle "Leprechaun" picture just...makes me sad.

I finished this movie about an hour ago and I thought it was f***ing terrible. There's not one good thing about this movie or any reason to watch it. I would rather watch any of the other Leprechaun movies 20 times in a row than to have to sit through this piece of shit once more.
Avoid this like it was Paris Hilton carrying the plague.

Have they even promoted this? Wasn't it the first of some big new deal they had with larger studio?
